@skrili I get this alot. What you just said is misunderstanding.

Bone Shield is a PvP move. It costs one unholy rune, which offsets your rotation, it only lasts 3 hits, which is about 2 seconds on Trash. Lastly, the cooldown is one minute. That means the uptime is about 2% if your a tank.

All other talents that may seem like a 'Tank' talent are just filler talents. That 5% Dodge can be taken by a frost or blood tank.

blood can be used in an arena setting but no one will use it in high end arena due to its severe lack of utility which unholy brings, with the ghoul (gnaw) and the extra snare (desecration). blood only works against morons who can't handle the front loaded burst that blood brings which is extremely ez to counter.

People don't choose unholy because the skills "look cooler." In blood spec, you have no permanent ghoul pet, which means no stun, which is VERY useful in pvp. Also, scourge strike is magic damage. Heart strike is physical, so it is mitigated by armor.

blood hits much harder. how ever once you have gargoyle out thats when you do most damage as unholy and can kill and blood dk. the stun is 3 secs which isnt much. but its some what usefull for taking down healers. im dual specced with blood and unholy and blood hits a lot harder

I'm also dual sped blood and unholy, but I've never used blood for pvp. None of the highest ranked death knights use blood spec for pvp. It just isn't a viable option. I'll explain again, scourge strike is better than heart strike for pvp. Scourge strike is not mitigated by armor because it is shadow damage. Scourge strike can also usually out-damage heart strike because with unholy spec, you have 3 diseases.
