The right landing on real life (and should be on fsx, like they say "as real as it gets") ITS hard, because when its soft, while the plane is descending to touch the runway can come a wind and take out the plane from the runway and make a disaster!

These graphics look rather shitty... There are 3 big FPS hogs in the configuration and then a few in the fsx.cfg file. I can play better than this on a 600 Dollar computer I bought three years ago.

can someone tell me, what specs of a new computer would i need to run FSX on good settings like this without any choppyness? It says 512 RAM, 256 graphics card, and so on on the box but I think that's almost surely not the case, maybe with every single setting turned to ultra low, but then you would just be playing FS2004 probably.

@weversonman Stick with Fs2004 for now ..There are not any computers available today to run FSX at an acceptable level...

@marinjohn how can that be, it came out over 4 years ago!! If that's honestly the case, then microsoft is a downright fraud of a company, writing on the box that you can run it with 512 mb of ram, a 128 mb video card etc. FS2004 is ok, the graphics are pretty crappy compared to more modern games.

@weversonman Believe me I have spent countless hours tweaking FSX and adding every thing I could to improve it but to no avail..I have a very powerful computer and it still runs in a very choppy manner especially on turns...With default aircraft it is barely acceptable but try 1 payware plane or a bit of traffic you can forget it..I have fs9 running like a dream and to be honest with the add ons I have it actually looks better than FSX,,,

Hey anyone. Say you just were at the gates at any airport and you wanted to taxi to a runway. Is their any way to auto taxi?

@calebx4 No not that I know of... you still have to taxi, the only help you can get is called the progressive taxi tool found in the atc window... but like I said, you still have to taxi

@calebx4 Sorry for the long response time. You can but a joystick, because this will help you with flying, and it will let you turn the plane on the ground as well. The best thing to do is to get both and steer with the rudders on the ground (like in real life). But like I said, you can buy a joystick and steer on the ground with that for now.

The Reason the runway and las vegas looks so nice is a senery download off of the internet. ive got it for some big airports and the senery looks amazing. and that was a really nice landing but however i did see you off a little cause i saw the white doted lines out the window but very smooth landing ill give it a 7

Is there a special reason that they paint that snail in the center of the tourbine? It looks like some stroboscopic mechanism so if the tourbine gets slower, faster or inverter, the snail's move show the technichian something?
