  • Dear Gentlemen,

I'm a real live professional racewalker. No joke. It's my actual job. I think this video is marvelous. I needed a reason to laugh just now, this did it. Keep up the good work.

  • Hilarious! ...Not.

  • this is stupid

  • you tried so hard to make fun of racewalking...sadly you're good at it. That's embarrassing for you

  • You even gave credit to the fan!!!

  • Hey fuck you guys you nothing about racewalking you're just 2 fat cunts!!

  • @evanboy101 lol. they nothing about racewalking? and they're fat?

could you be any dumber.. and prove it anymore in two simple sentences?

  • @evanboy101 They're not fat and they're joking. Lolumad?

  • ŻAL KURWA!

  • Oh and to Trulyloyale.. you are right when you say race walking is the toughest.. When I first began it was completely nerve recking because I had to be careful if I wanted to catch up with someone as I could get disqualified. It's not like running where you just need the energy and breathing to sprint at the end.. Being disqualified means you just did a whole race for nothing.

  • Haha I am a racewalker and so is my friend and after our competition she did the same exact thing and did a "victory lap" with her blanket pretending it was a Chinese flag!

And is this video mocking racewalkers because it seems they are walking really slow

  • Very funny! I'm an avid marathoner and I do racewalk! I still thought the video was cute.

  • Racewalking is a hopeless excuse for a sport, really impure in it's nature.

Instead of going from point A to point B as fast as possible you have to do it in a way in which we as humans move when we do not try to get anywhere fast. It's like having a car-race, where every car has a fully-functional manual transmission, and everybody has to keep it in the first gear.

Why won't these people run marathons instead, or compete in the 10k?

    It's a joke.

  • And yes, I thought this video was funny.

  • Ya formula one they slow cars down to make it more entertaining so maybe race walking is a bit more entertaining then watching a few men from the rift valley do laps of the track

  • Can you explain backstroke or butterfly, when freestyle is faster?

  • Yes, obviously it's good excercise and stuff. But I wouldn't want to be seen doing those hip motions. I'd stick to running.

  • A good racewalker is poetry in motion. Before you criticise, have you seen what some joggers or runners look like? In racewalking you get disqualified for slowing down to a normal walk... an added point of difficulty. Join a club and give it a go ... I dare u.!

  • " the fact that a walker should be disqualified and at the end he's not ..."

correction in my below comment .

  • Neil6000 by your comment I can just see 2 things :

#1 you make your efforts to find any possible reason to justify your landmates'

    pathetic ignorance and childish attitude,

with very little success I must say .....

#2 you and your US fellows have a strange & bizarre sense of humour, along with a pathetic one way standard of thinking and judging .

Race walking looks ridiculous ONLY TO

USA and CANADA people's eyes. 'cos they were never able to compete & win in the specialty.

  • To all the rest of the world , race walking not only looks a wonderful olympic sport, but also the toughest inside track & field olympic program.

I suppose you're not that retard to not know that it's not like the " real life " walking ( otherwise it would be like playing baseball and wouldn't be difficult at all ) but it's a really tough athletic forced movement and it's ruled by precise rules .

Race walkers are not allowed to not respect the game's rules, despite what you dream about :

  • the facts that some walker should be disqualified in some competitions and he's not by race officials doesn't mean the whole race walk allows to not respect the rules .

Maybe you should find stronger arguments than these quite weak ones .

As said Usa & Canada are the only 2 countries in the world who seem not interested in race walking , in every country else ( Australia comprehensive ) this very tough specialty has been increasing its appeal : true facts don't get along with ur opinion :-)

  • On Bejing Olympics judges made respect

rules and the competition has been a serious and not a pharcical one .

That's just to put truth on table , then everybody has the right to like or dislike everything and to express his thoughts .

  • A too ridiculous and quite stupid video I must say, not funny at all .

It says a lot of a typical ignorance from certain people ( mostly from US I have to admit ) about sports and of a retarded attitude of underrating those sports in which their country can't succeed .

Something already seen so many times ..

  • Trulyloyale:

Race walking DOES look ridiculous and needs to be made fun of, especially the way it is done in the Olympics.

Race walkers are allowed to cheat their stride and as a result it has evolved into nothing more than stiff-legged jogging - NO ONE actually walks like that in real-life and so race walking has lost it's appeal to fans all over the world.

If officials actually started enforcing the "one foot in contact with ground at all times" rule again it might be a legitimate sport.

  • funny cause neither of them would last the full 50 laps a real walker would have to do, and i doubt they could run it either with an olympic walker by his side, The olympic wwalk is the longest and toughest event in the oylmpics and in the fact you can possible get disqualified at 48k makes it pretty tough.

  • omg! this is completely true.

  • Lighten Up People!

    You guys are hysterical!!! Hahahahahaha

  • haha i couldnt believe it when i turned on the tv last night just to see this man almost running(but not quite) and his hips swaying like mad.

But it is quite impressive...the speed the men can walk

  • very intense, almost as if u were doing a real sport, very nice

  • Hey if you do or don't like the video thats cool either way... let them have fun making fun of race walking I'm sure any commenter or viewer find out quickly the stamina you need to get to the Olympics or just complete 12 miles in less than 90 minutes... but heck I thought this was cute and funny just have fun watching or go to another video :)

  • why does everyone have such a problem with racewalking!? they ran out of events so we might as well walk. deal with it

  • Not really creative or funny...just beating up on an overused punching bag.

And as far as racewalkers go...Olympic racewalkers do sub-7 minute miles...and if its a joke, then I'm sure every tough guy posting here could go out and win a gold, then.

  • Get off your intellectual high-horse, asshole. You obviously don't understand comedy.

  • That's my point. You tell someone to make a video about racewalking, 90% of people would come up with something pretty much exactly like this. There's nothing creative here. Which is why it isn't funny, too obvious, too easy.

  • haha no hon,the idea of race WALKING on OLYMPICS is funny

  • "Any fool can criticize, condemn, and complain - and most fools do." -Benjamin Franklin

"You do ill if you praise, but worse if you censure what you do not understand." -Leonardo da Vinci

  • nice of you to look up quotes

lucky of you to have so much time to=)

  • you guys are idiots. pro race walkers can walk faster than you run, and they have fit bods unlike beanpole and chubby^^^

  • no they cant and you fail at life, racewalking is a joke. watch some real athletes compete faggot

  • Sorry buddy, but you lost all credibility when you said that racewalkers have "fit bods." That might be the single gayest line I have ever heard in my life.

  • lol "gayest line" im a girl who happened to be logged onto my lil brothers account u dick. "lost all credibility" riiiiite, race walking has been in my family for like nearly 60 years so i know what im talking about thanks =)

  • thats awesome

  • well done sirs

  • haha thats so great

  • you guys are so funny!

    this is daniel a.

  • lol good work.
