Joe Walsh is one of the all time greats of rock and roll. Many people think of him as a member of the Eagles but most of his best work was done back in the 1970s in the James Gang and as a solo artist. Rock on forever, Joe!

Joe's like Dean Martin - in that, he ALWAYS looks stoned! Dean was the best in that area because he always looked like he was going to fall over. But he had a secret, he didn't drink or nothing else when he preparing for a performance. Joe Walsh was a BIG boozer, especially during the 80's and early 90's. The Eagles didn't even know if he could still play guitar until he started practicing 4 Hell Freezes Over in 94. He got the monkey off his back and they say he's straight as an arrow ever since

Consequently, he's no doubt like many kids of the last decade or more, who do nothing but lock on to some games, chats, and the whatnot. He's got a very beautiful and sweet wife so he's not going nowhere. Well, he'd better come to Sacramento in April cause I paid $500 for two seats 7 rows off the main floor at Arco Arena to see the Eagles in their current Road to Eden tour. This will be my 4th Eagle concert, Yeah!!!

Joe Walsh doesn't do drugs or alchohol anymore. HE's been clean for a long time. He didn't even drink on his own wedding. Slurred speach is just the way he talks. And the reason he is so hyper is because dude downs shitload of Red Bull everyday. He should have a sponsorship from them or a stock option.

Joe Walsh, from what I've read and seen, is lucky to be alive after all the stuff he did. There was a clip that I saw entitled "what's wrong with Joe Walsh" in which a guy is trying to interview him when he is obviously under the influence. I mean he always sounds wasted when he talks, but this was bad. Amazingly, he could still demonstrate how to play slide! I dunno where that clip went- I assume he had it removed. Oh well, it was kinda sad. He's a fantastic song writer and geetarist!

Joe *used* to be high/ drunk ALL the freaking time -- he and Keith Moon were party buds -- but he sobered up back in the early 90's.

He often still "plays" the stoner, but I've seen him switch from this pretty convincing stoner act -- like during the James Gang reunion interviews -- to totally rock steady and serious in a heartbeat.

He's admitted he's diagnosed as ADD so there's also the possibility that he's reacting to ADD meds.
