  • 400$ owch man, for that price i cant take the small chance of having it confiscated, even if it isnt assisted opening or anything

  • @Taud Where do you live?

  • yo JT.. just got my Umnumzaan (the boss) been packing it everyday for about 2 weeks, your right the weight don' t really matter. great damn review and blade!!!

  • @Rudemustang1 ...thanks and congratulations.

  • very nice knife

  • the only problem for me is i don't know how to correctly sharp it ! cox the factory edge is so so nice and nearly polished , . how do u sharp urs ? thank you !

  • @bcv001 ...I been practicing sharpen blades with convetional grinds but, I usually take my knives to a friend who has a company that sharpens industrial size saw, blades, band saws, etc.

He a real blade smith and knows how to sharpen knives. I haven't used or have to sharpen my (2) Umnumzaans but, with it's tanto shape and wicked grind I would try to sharpen it I would take it to him.

See if there's any blades smiths in your area. Or send them to John Fitzen of Razors Edge.

  • @bcv001

    thank you very much !

i am from canada , i will contact razors edge for more info ! thanks again

  • @bcv001

I have the tanto Umnum. I thas a convex edge from the factory.

I use a leather strop from JRE. Look up some vids on sharpening convex edges on youtube. It's easy and its basically *impossible* to scratch the blade.

I EDC this knife over my Sebbie, SNG, Para 2. and SMF. Just an incredible piece of craftsmanship IMO.

  • I am part South African...where Zulu warriors are from...

  • One of the best tanto's out there, IMO. The leading edge is both thick *and* sharp.

  • How do you use one of those lanyards? I have never really understood that...

  • @agentspaz13 ...a lot of times a lanyard is just for looks or decorations...a wicked skull or a cool cobra stitch.

Others like the lanyard because it helps them draw the knife out of their pocket. Or if you have big hands and wearing/carrying a smaller neck knife or say a Srider SLCC a lanyard gives to extra "purchase" something more to grab on for a more secure hold.

If you watch my "Rajah I and Rajah II" video which has a different longer lanyard you can loop and secure a bigger knife.

  • @HELLZZARMY

    Okay. Thanks for the clarification!

  • @agentspaz13 ...that's just a few examples.

  • Very nice knife. I like the sabenza better personally though.

  • "Barbarian with a broadsword / aristocrat with a rapier"...hehe love that comparison. Just bought one from TrueNorthKnives. Had to have one after watching your vid.

  • damn. this is the 3rd or 4th time i've watched this vid. This knife is so beautiful. I want one! But there's no way i can afford a $400 knife!! Are there any replica's that cost maybe $40? lol.

  • @808Arsenal ...not that I know of...something to save up for or several people can pool their money to buy you a birthday present. I don't know....

  • @HELLZZARMY bradley knives makes a similar type to a sebenza. worth a look.

  • @mrbeligos ...10-4...thanks, I've seen them. I got the automatic version of the Alias I (see video) from BladeOps.

  • @HELLZZARMY knife art has even another "exclusive" blade shape.

  • @mrbeligos Bradley dosent make knives they get others to do it the Alias is made by Benchmade I dont have one but hope to get one sometime but have a few fixed blade I want first. You should take A look at Fehrman knives if you would like a nice fixed blade and maybe A folder from Lone wolf would be nice.

  • thats a really nice knife!!! then i saw the price :O ill stick with my crkt lol

  • Every time I see the tanto version of that knife, it reminds me of a Ferrari or something.

    Very sweet!

  • did chris reeve ever make an automatic because his manual knives are beautiful

  • @TH3aznEmperor ...I haven't seen one but, maybe another youtuber has...

  • @HELLZZARMY I have seen a auto version...you have to find someone that can machine in the parts for a conversion. I expect that would be in the neighborhood of $300 for it. BUT it can be done.

  • @mrbeligos ...you mean you"haven't seen an auto version"...

You must have misunderstood me when I said, "I HAVE AN AUTO VERSION OF THE Bradley Alias I." I have one. About $159.00 at BladeOps.

Just to reiterate I have an auto version of the Bradley Alias I (see video-BladeOps Automatic/Systematic)...lol!

  • @TH3aznEmperor As far as I know there were no automatic Sebenzas direct from Chris but some people have done (or had) conversions to make them automatic. There used to be a Youtube video of one but I can't find it anymore. Butch Vallotton is one guy who does conversions.

  • That Chris reeve excites me.

  • very very cool blade ! and u watch your 6 too man ! be safe.

  • It does look like a scalpel. Your videos are great entertainments on lazy saturdays.

  • The tanto tip ... whew.

  • Sick Blade Bro I have the Seb 21

  • never really been into tantos but that sure is some sick crazy tanto action goin on lol

  • It's a beauty.

  • @eleftedg ...10-4...chopper-one.

  • Nice nice nice! Hope you like it!

  • its a Gentleman's Tactical Folder!!!

  • damm

  • Slick blade. The straight (or near straight) back strap of the handle makes it look aggressive on the table, but I agree the overall design is clean and refined, not intimidating if you were to whip it out of your suit pocket to open a package or cut up some fruit.

  • Very nice knife. It would look great in a display box in your store when you open.

    ★★★★★

  • @jeremiahbf117 ...10-4...but, it's also very carriable as an EDC blade.

  • @HELLZZARMY I imagine. It looks like it folds up into a pretty sleek package. As always, I am envious.

  • yOUR VIDS ARE GREAT AND iM SURE THAT IM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO THINKS THAT! TELL US MORE ABOUT YOUR LIFE IN HAWAII

  • you're right, beautiful and deadly

  • a seb.. euh chris reeve are u going soft man?

    hehe ;)

  • @nephildevil ...lol! You have to admit it's a great knife beautiful and deadly...

  • @HELLZZARMY it certainly is :)

  • thats a nice knife.. $400 a bit much but Chris R stuff is nice..

  • Very nice knife...J.T. You should get ahold of some more Chris Reeve knives! Check out the Green Beret Knife by Chris Reeve.

  • That sure is a Beauty! I really like the Tanto blade.

  • Love the looks of the tanto version!

    Great buy!

  • Very cool, Man! Congrats! Definitely one of the best CRK knives available, in my humble opinion. Enjoy!

  • oh my... that's one beautiful knife, you don't come across a tanto version often. Good god.. ;]

    Nice knife!

  • oh i had this in my video last year ! i liked it very much ! feels much stronger than sebenza ! hope you like ! thank you good video !

  • Nice knife bud. I'm about to graduate college. Thinking a Sebenza might be in order ;-).

  • If I had a very good job, I would buy it.

  • That thing is beautiful JT! Nice video!

  • @007JoeVitto ...thanks.

  • The things I would do with 400 dollars...

  • @stealthbeast ...that's what she said...lol!

  • Beautiful. Simple yet brilliant. Hold their value too.

  • Nice blade, I have the original Umnumzaan as my primary EDC blade, wish i had the tanto though.

  • is the quality control really as good as all the hype makes it out to be?

With my luck, im always the 1 out of alot to get a piece of *** lol

The angle of the tanto edge looks very steep (looks WICKED but is it all that functional? .......actually who cares it looks sweet)

  • man. that is a nice lookin knife. I love that blade.

  • $400.00??? You must be out of your FUCKING MIND!!!

  • @mindyabiznez ...perhaps, I travel a great deal...lol!

  • @mindyabiznez lol I take it you don't know much about Chris Reeve knives or Striders? Let alone customs? Not a bad price for a knife that will out live you. ;]

  • I think tanto blades are pointless... I guess I just think their ugly too.

  • Awesome knife

  • Those tanto Umnamzans are sweet man! I think you don't feel the weight b/c your used to big stuff. I mean that 1911 you haven't can't be light. Either way, thanks for posting the vid!

  • NICE !

  • sweet knife!!! Are they expensive?

    - Jack

  • @entwistle14 ...as stated in the video...$400.00. So it depends on how you feel about spending that kind of money on a knife.

  • @HELLZZARMY wow $400, must be pretty bad ass

  • badass bro
