  • my dad always wanted to see merle he never got the chance as he sadly passed away :( love and miss him so much 30.7.2011 gbnf xxxx

  • There will never be country music like Merle Haggard sings when he is gone. He grew up when America was a different country. True old country type living is just about gone from where I grew up in N.C. I'm one of the last old holdouts . I hate to see things change the way they have . Most young people don't have a clue what real country music is.

  • Makes ya teary eyed lol

  • My Dad and lived for Merle and when i feel depressed listen to this, love and miss you xxxx

  • My mother loved GJ for many many years. This was one of her favoites. Secretly, I knew why. What she did'nt know, is while she worked nightshift for years, her brother called "home" from prison, to speak to his niece, to say how much he loved his family.

  • @louiesaunders I (15) took my dan (50) last april for an early fathers day present it cost 128 dollars 64 dollars each ticket. it was great. my dad had see him multiple times as where i had only seen him twice once at the county fair from a distance of about 150-300 feet away so we couldn't see very well. and then last april 18 2010.
