  • Actually Summer Carnival '92 Recca for Famicom was the first bullet hell shooting game. It was created by S. Yagawa, who later on created Battle Garegga, Battle Bakkraid, Armed Police Batrider, Ibara, and Pink Sweets.

  • @Soukyugurentai I agree, because the fast-paced gameplay, even though it looks 8-bit, looks harder than most shooters that we knew today, but it looks fun.

  • Awesome review! I think it's a great game? Predecessor to Don Pacchi.. Nicee. Must have when I get the Saturn (Geez.. is it expensive to own this title?)

  • @PhatPhunk Hi Phunk, thanks for watching these and creating great vibes with your comments! I am discovering more awesome shooters than I have consoles to run them on!!!! Hope you're doing well dude.

  • Just a request really: when you do your reviews could you perhaps master the sound so that we can hear yourself speaking easily over the sound of the game please?

It is rather difficult to hear you and you are rather accented - no offense to you.

  • @MintythecatIsABeast LOL! Yeah, that accent is a bit strong, and it's also not my normal speaking voice, I seem to be able to review shooters better with a brummie accent. Yes, take your point about the sound, I think I need a new mic battery, or elecution lessons! (See my video Sega Dreamcast review with Mercedes 911)! Thanks for your other comments too, which I'm going to PM you about.

  • FFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUU I've wanted this game for so long. Why does it have to be so expensive!?

Great idea showing the arranged and normal modes. Bravo! Great review.

  • @wip3outguy7 thanks my friend. Seems to me like all saturn shooters are going through the roof at the moment, I guess they are all being snapped up so if you want one it's gonna hurt!

  • @futurematt5 Yeah. I was looking over Hyper Duel last night after watching this. Another shmup I would love to have on the Saturn if money was no object. Oh well, $199 on eBay can shove it.

Too bad you're on the other side of the Atlantic-fucking-Ocean or we could do shmup meets.
