I only met Moishe twice in my life and he was a wonderful character. First time in his Tel Aviv coffe shop. He's very impressive. Thank god for YouTube so people can enjoy his unique style and talent. Never heard this song before and I love it.
@BrooklynNotQueens Upon seeing what you wrote in Hebrew, I must say that you have a lot of teshuvah to do before Our Father in Heaven. I cannot even repeat what you wrote about the Holy Ba'al Shem Tov, and your hatred for the former Rebbe of Lubavitch is palpable. Please reconsider your words, and write a public apology so that the people who see your message and understand Hebrew can know the Truth.
I agree with you that the Rebbe is not Mashiach, but he was a Nassi HaDor.
This version skips the part of when he comes back from summer and finds his Zaidi gone and his family no longer cares about their jewishness. Possibly it was condensed for length and poignancy. Great song.
I would think a secular audience and performer would be uncomfortable with that part, Ursugarspice. That is one of the things that makes the song so poignant, in my humble opinion.
the pictures are so good!!! where can we find them??

@adnin7 Music is culture and culture is survival, all of which are interdependent on one another where quality is a constructive aspect.
