Superb cat. As its situation seems desperate, has anyone considered interbreeding it with another variety of lynx--one that's not endangered? The American lynx (bobcat) comes to mind. If female bobcats were introduced to Iberian lynx territory, I'm sure a fantastic hybrid would result. Thus the Iberian strain wouldn't be entirely lost...
Goberments spent billions in WARS and to get their asses to the moon and shit, and HERE on earth people stilll dying for lack of food contaminated water even lack of water.. and yess they can't just do somenthing to protect this animals. Its a shame this could happen in a EUROPEAN country..

Actually the iberian lynx only can survive in captivity like in doñana.
Spain will yield puppies lynx to Portugal,this is a beginning.
