  • apple got canon printers and put more ram in them so they would be faster

  • Hardcore ending XD

  • @atomjelly Lol!

  • If I remember right, Apple did use Canon machinery for their printers.

  • they are communicating with each other in printer language lol

  • All older Apple inkjet printers had Canon mechanics, which is why they sound the same. The electronics were made by Apple though, which explains why they sound the same, yet some of them have sonsiderably fewer buttons and LEDs than their Canon counterparts. Here inA ustria Canon cartridges were much much cheaper (1/3 the price) of Apple cartridges, so we always used Canon.

Only the very last Color StyleWriters were rebranded HP.

  • Ok; we see the black and white printers in this clip. But what about the apple COLOR stylewriter? Is any canon color buble jet printer around?

  • Nope, those are the only Apple and Canon inkjet printers that I have around.

  • Hmmmm........it's just that apple did make a color stylewriter but I wonder if canon ever made a color buble jet. Not that you don't have one but I just wonder if they made one. It would be cool to know.

  • Canon did (and does) make color printers (the BJC series). Some later Apple StyleWriter printers were also rebranded Canon's, and some were rebranded HP's.

  • Oh. Cool.

  • canon had a color Bubble jet, I had one but it broke,

  • @mattsprinter yea there is all apple did was get canon printers put more ram in them and they printed faster

  • @ictdude1 I just figured out, a couple of days ago, that if the models were identical, certain parts can be interchanged between the Canon bubble jet and Apple stylewriter series.

  • They are the same exact printer. I remember using Apple StyleWriter ink cartridges in my Canon BJ200 because I could find them cheaper than real Canon ink at a computer show. Some people said it wouldn't work, but the parts were completely interchangeable!

  • They had a few of these at my first school - they do look just a tad similar, don't they?

  • Yeah, they look pretty darn similar and sound/operate exactly the same.
