  • James Franco?! :o Matthew Gray Gubler would be perfect, has the looks and the right vibe for the role...

  • This reminds me of a girl...

  • wish he could swim as good as he can sing..

  • @arveaakra : Thats a very unfortunate comment...

  • @tintoweno : it was a very funny commentary.

  • wonderful <3 <3 <3

  • Heard this about 2 years ago for the first time.. haven't stopped listening to it ever since... :)

  • If they made a movie about Jeff Buckley i could totally see James Franco playing him.

  • @14brad yeah i know. they have same simularities and chracteristics :/

  • @14brad 200%

  • still beautiful x

  • Jeff, nearly twenty years ago, I lost my virginity to this album and fell in love with the same girl. It was she who introduced me to the beauty of your music and your soul. She broke my heart, but my love for you and your music and your voice will inger forever. Thank you for all the memories.

  • This album is out of this world

  • One of my favorites. We all miss you very much Jeff, RIP.

  • <3

    please come back, Jeff

  • Greatest song ever!

  • what is really sad is his earlier death ,too soon, .....!!

  • I've had this on repeat for days, and every time I fall more and more in love with his voice.

  • nothing to say .. Just incredible.

  • This song breaks my heart. Only when I hear it sung by Jeff Buckley does it have that effect.

  • its sad the way he died, he deserved better

  • The other day I heard this song for the first time in the french movie Ne le dis à personne. Great movie, great music, but this song stood out because of Jeff's amazing voice. Dude seemed to sing from the core of human feeling. It's amazing.

  • @lulospawn ahahahah thats where i heard it the first time too!! great movie!!

  • Beautifull...

  • What a sad lost talent, every time I hear this song it reminds me of summer nights on the patio over looking my garden.

  • I will absolutely love this song until the day I die. he will forever be embedded as one of the most beautiful and prolific songwriters of any generation....not just mine. He will always remain as a pivotal figure that has shaped my love for true and gut-wrenching songwrtiting. Absolutely instrumental in my recovery as a former meth addict. All those endless and torture-filled nights, I took comfort in not only his music but his hypnotic voice and pure and poetic soul. He is my love.

  • @angelili9273 He did not write this song. It was a U.K. hit for Elkie Brooks in 1978, a great version.

  • @dizzi0000 Elkie didn't write the song either. It was written by James Shelton in 1950.I agree that Elkie's version is great. It's a great song sung by great artists. Eartha Kitts and Nina Simone also recorded great versions of Lilac Wine.

  • @angelili9273 beautiful story

  • Best male vocalist these past two decades.

  • @Budaphly agreed. runner up fave thome yorke for me

  • A true star ... nobody will ever compare.

  • :) love it :)
