I used Electabuzz in my Crystal playthrough, and didn't use an electric type in my Soul Silver playthrough. I have used the mareep line in my XD playthrough though.

I never you use Mareep myself. I felt that Electabuzz was just a bit better as it can learn a vaster set of moves (I.E fighting for rock/steel, earth for poison/rock/steel/thunder, and most if not all the punches.) So personally i felt Electabuzz screamed to me more over. Sorry for the long rant.

I never use mareep i ahte its speed is way to low and its attack is to low for being an electrike pokemon i would rather use a pickichu or a electrike insteed of a mareep pluse i think its annoying to train.

I dont know if this is true, but when a pokemon is confused (for me anyway) it randomly chooses 1 move that works 100 percent, one that's 75 percent, and the other two work 50 percent. (Sometimes there is one 0-25 percent move, and even more rarely, no 100 percent move.)

The funny thing about Wrap in the first generation was that you could switch out your Pokemon on ANY of the turns that you would have been affected and taken damage. I am serious, all that damage and it is so easily avoidable but not everyone knows this.

The Super Game boy was a cartridge for the SNES where if you put a Game Boy game in the top slot of the cartridge you could play Game Boy games on your tellevision, however, you can't play Game Boy Colour games on it (or GBA games for that matter).

Mareep sucks. Normally i just use a Starmie for electro-types because flying and water Pokemon won't do much against it and it has also water and ice attacks against dragons and ground-types. No one needs electro types and if, then just use Jolteon.
