How could they not? Do you think that everyone listening to Lady Gaga has a deep love and respect for her? Um no. That's why success is considered bad. Music on the radio is there for people to mostly ignore, dance to or hum along to while they are busy, that's why it's big labels = labels want more sales = water everything down to appeal to the masses.
