I always used to criticize all the Indian singers other than Sonu Nigham for their pronunciation of Urdu words... But Shekhar has done a fantastic job. The way he said "Khalish" and  "Qareeb"... he sound so natural and so original.... hats off Shekhar

@wckdvdos I agree. But these singers that you're talking about have no idea about the language in teh first place. Listen to KK's songs of the past, and currently Benny Dayal is the same. Usko to main mila bhi tha last year and I told him dude, better pronounce words properly or else quit.

You will never find this in Udit and Sonu - NEVER!!! Kumar Sanu has screwed up many times (listen to Masoom Chehra Nigahein Farebi). And all the new singers, well I don't count them!

I don't know why he did that. Dagaa, Berukhi and all... I think he kinda must have gotten bored with singing. His singing career had declined by then. Another chutiya is Abhijeet. His voice is magical but pronunciation of Q is the same as K. Other than that, he's OK.
