@xtothefifthpower You DO understand what a repossession is right? The collateral can't be stolen from you if you don't own it. Once you pay it off, and have the title then its your car, until that point the owner is the bank.

That topper should be a big help once the snow falls. But it kinda kills your view from in the cab. I'm sure you'll get used to it, but I think for me I wouldn't want to have to put that on. I always feel better if I can easily see all around me.

@LuckyRabbitTail It will take some getting use to but that's why I moved the camera so I don't have the blind spots at the rear. I need to upload some footage showing what my view is like now from the new camera location. The snow was the main reason for the shell though plus it keeps my stuff more secure when the truck is out in public parking lots. A lot of tow trucks around here get their dollie bar stolen as well as go-jaks and straps.

@RepoNut That will be cool to see in your newer vids and WOW that's crazy that tow truck tool's get stolen.I've never had that problem or know of any drivers around that have had anything taken off the truck.Tho wait, I did have a roadside customer that stole a really nice flashlight.IDK why they did it but that's why I dont let people in my truck while i'm hooking or dropping vehicles anymore.I've always thought of getting locks for the dollies and go-jacks,but guess im waiting for the day lol.

so i have a great question for you, one that you might have heard, maybe not...

i voluntarilly let the repo guys up here come and take possesion of my vehicle on behalf of the bank because i could not make the payments on it anymore. i also surrendered my boat as well. well, the asset recovery agency came and took the vehicle, i asked if they were taking the boat as well and they said they would be back. well that was 8 months ago. no contact from the bank nor recovery agency, i am confused ?

@djHANDY Financial lenders have to make decisions that take in a lot of factors to consider before repossessing collateral secured by a loan agreement. Once they take possession of the collateral it limits their options for legal recourse so sometimes leaving the collateral in your possession is better. The reason they took the truck and not the boat is based on resale and market values at the time of the repossession for each piece of collateral.

@RepoNut so basically they are just letting me keep it (for a short while) - until they see fit to come for it ? i dropped insurance on it - what if something happens to it ? i just found it bizarre that when i have contacted them, i have provided them with the address to where it is, and they have just replied "we will send someone shortly". i can see how that makes sence, i mean... right now with the way the economy is, nobody is really going to be in the market to go $20k+ on a used boat
