@wongmylesa i disagree, the 4.0 is definitely more reliable as its one of fords most reliable engine ever built. the 4.0 will always make more torque, cold air intake gives you like 2hp and free flowing exhaust will give you about 5hp. and you could easily make way more than 325 out of a 4.0. there is a ton of room for larger heads and valves. heads/cam both and i guarantee youll see that there is no replacement for displacement.

I have yet to see a NA V6 at any Pro Drag Race and run the times of the V8. Having 2 more cylinders running power will ALWAYS trump (or 4 more or 6). But I have to admit the power the V6s are making now are outstanding.

I would also like to clarify that CAI can gain you 12 HP easily if you have wide enough tubing and a good air filter.
As for the Free Flowing exhaust... Have you seen the exhaust system hooked up to the J30 motors? The manifold can be improved with thicker tubing.
And the exhaust pipes.. Are like 1.5 Inches wide... Its not even a real dual exhaust set up.. Its a Y pipe... With 1.5 inch tubing.
Me penis cant even fit in that tube.

ive hit well over 115 in 4 gear with my stock 5 speed 2006 v6 stang... i dont think ther governed at 112 more like 120ish. and myn accelarates a heck of alot faster than this one...

first of its not a V4 its a Inline 4. also 100km/h is 60 mph so 115 mph is almost 190km/h. try an put that bmw against this mustang and it will get destroyed every time.

@lude4life13 i dont think so, the ford 4.0 is known to be a very durable engine, thats why its been around for about 20 years in various ford cars. ford v8's have had problems but the larger v6's(3.8L, 4.0L and 4.2L) have been known to run good and tough it out through alot of wear and tear over years

Hell you take your foot off the brake and it shoots backwards in reverse. Very hard to not speed in it. It is a cheaper alternative to the V8. IT WORKS FINE. It is fast enough, 0-60 in 7.5 seconds by my stopwatch. That isn't bad at all.

Er, its a lot heavier than your altima. Dumbass. Also, not all fords are slow. The Fusion V6 has a fantastic 0-60 time, go look it up. Look up the 0-90 one, its fucking crazy fast for a non-sports car. My 03 Expedition does 0-60 in only 8.8 Seconds, and that thing weighs 6000lbs.

Well my Altima is a 2.4 150hp 4cyl and the Shitstang is a 4.0 210 V6 and it still can manage to outrun a 12 year old 4Cyl Altima, besides th Mustang only weight 500lbs more so the extra hp SHOULD make up for it, but it dont so, yes Ford makes slow cars!
