  • OMG, been looking for this movie for ages...

  • I think that song just gave me SPACE HERPES!

  • It's so bad it's good! Kipp Hamilton's dance style reminds me of Cosmica in Chris Joss's video Disco Dancing. If you enjoyed this you might also look for the psychedelic dance scene in Godzilla vs. The Smog Monsters.

  • YES!! I've been trying to remember the lyrics to this song for 30 years! In the mid-70's ch. 5 in Los Angeles used to have "The Channel 5 Movie of the Week." Should have been called "Movie FOR the Week" cuz they showed it 4-5 times during Monday thru Friday, sometimes weekends!

  • How do you go from "West Side Story" and "The Haunting" to this?

  • Not everyday a tank lands on your house.

  • my 5 year old sister knows the lyrics

  • angry video game nerd just reviewed this movie :)

  • @Xphylez he actually reviewed it last year on his website showing your not a real fan and also he's only the avgn when he's the avgn he's just james rolfe while reviewing movies

  • @hockeytofu101 lol...well sorry that i had to live on a tight budget the past 2 years so...real fan or not, i helped spread that ninja turtles video around in summer 06 before that even hit 100k lol...and besides he technically reviewed it again soooo im still right lol...

  • Booji Boy cover was better!

  • I love how the Green Gargantua sneeaks up behind her prompt everyone to scream THEN she turns around

  • My dad is watching this movie right now. We keep singing this song.

  • I love the lyrics. I could think of something else getting stuck in my throat.

  • Did it kill her?

  • LOL

  • I would love to get drunk and put on a monkey suit and run across a parking lot full of plastic models , Smashing everything into fucking trash.

I bet the guy in the GARGUANTUA suit actually got paid to do that . lol

  • Scooby Doo brought me here O.O

  • Scooby Doo?!? Bwa ha ha ha...I'm intrigued. What's the connection?!? Gawd all mighty, is this really from War Of The Gargantuas?!? Gawd damnnnnn LOL

  • LOL

  • Why did the monster drop her? Did she start singing in his ear??

  • Just eat her already!!

  • The creature had to put her out of her misery but why did he wait till the song was over? :D

  • This is the apex (or is it the ape?) of 20th Century cinema.

  • LMAO i blame scooby doo for this i wud have never known this song

  • If this happened in America, "turning her over" would be grounds for a lawsuit as it may worsen any possible injury...and SOMEBODY has to get sued over this incident. The club owner?? The Gargantua?? No, not the Gargantua...after all, he's on the protected species list.

  • Yeah, good idea. Turn her over.

After that fall, she probably has a spinal injury . . .

  • Yes. It has the same lyrics. In my opinion it is better sung by Kip Hamilton than here.

  • Imagine if the Green Gargantua succeeded in eating her....her bones and shit would've been stuck in his throat.

  • @Krazy3912 But if I recall, the Green Gargantua DID eat her.

  • I'm not sure if this info has been posted already? But the actual name of the Song is called '' Feel in My heart''. It is really sad that Kip Hamilton is not with us anymore. I am sure she would have a lot of great stories on working on this film. I talked quite a bit to Russ Tamblyn , and he had some great stories of working on the film.

  • @Primevals33 You took the "words right out of my throat." I got the rare japanese cd soundtrack of Frankenstein's Monsters: Sanda vs Gaira (original japanese title) and this song is indeed titled "Feel In My Heart". it also includes an instrumental version of the song too. Did you know that on the Japanese version of the film the vocals (in english) are sung much better than the version featured here?

  • @sjdrifter72 Wow thanks for the info. I wonder if the Japanese film version has that same lyrics that you say are better than the English version? I also have the soundtrack too. I will have to check this out. Thanks again.

  • I have a karaoke version of this song. I may make a video of it.

  • God Bless Kip Hamilton 1935-1981 :)

  • JUST saw this om scooby doo :)

  • what happened?...she got stuck in the his throat & the monster self-heimliched her back out?

  • Haha! I heard this on Mystery Incorporated and I thought it was Devo but I see I was wrong.

  • Comment removed

  • I heard it on scoobydoo and had to search it up

  • Lmfao Scooby Doo JUST came on and I heard this song, but it sounded as if it was ripped from like, a 60's-70's record and placed into the show, which it was! I love my sense of curiosity. Pretty damn cool.

Also, I LOVE how Asian people can do almost anything <3 Awesomeness.

  • @Shaprika Asian people? You do realize that woman singing isn't Asian don't you?

  • I love the SFX in this movie!

  • I looked the song up on youtube because I love this song on Scooby Doo. But then realized that the sound of the woman was different from the rest of the episode so figured that it had to be a real song recording from a long time ago. I didn't realize that the whole episode was based on a movie! Now I want to see this movie!

  • classic; has the dvd been remastered ? I've been looking for it. thanks for the d. load

  • Scooby-doo is the shit!!! >:D

  • Hahaha I saw this on Scooby Doo too and I had to see if it was a real song, and was super annoying when it kept repeating in the background on the show xD

  • OMFFG i heard this on scooby doo! ^^

  • Scooby Doo!!!!

    LOL!

I heard the song on Scooby Doo just moments ago and had to search the song. Catchy song...

  • damn that american dude always seems to be in the middle of trouble, first he was a leader of the Jets in westside story and now this?

  • I would like to stick something else in her throat

  • THEY JUST COPIED THIS ON SCOOBY DOO! LOL

  • Scooby Dooby Doooo!

  • Lol I Just Saw This On Scooby Doo I Was Annoyed

  • scooby doo drove me hear

  • greatest movie ever... I walked around my backyard with a limp like the brown gargantua... the words get stuck in my throat every time & every time & every time... I make sure I move my foot back & forth like the random white person who is sacrificed to the green gargantua.

The hidden microphone in my heart is on!

  • A music video version of that song and movie was a great idea. That movie still has a big following, of course.

  • im glad only a cool groop like devo have covered this tune...i hope lame april lavine or disgusting green day don't ever watch this movie

  • That drummer is on bad drugs.

  • Really? I can honestly say I like the song and the melody. I just liked the scooby doo version better. The one from the toon sung it better than this woman did to me.

  • I'm sure some one has pointed out, but was this song written & or chosen intentionally fro this movie/this scene? "The words GET STUCK in my THROAT"?!?!?! Ahahahahaha!

  • oh ma gosh wen i had heard ths on scooby doo i was dyin!!

  • Oh my God did you see what happened at 2:23?

Wow... I hope she was alright. Looks like she fell quite a distance.

  • @krsongs

You know that this is a puppet...right?

  • Obviously, "Battle of the Hugonauts" is an homage/parody of this movie. Man, how obscure can you get. BTW, I co-sign with Gunstar, the new Scooby Doo movie is way better than previous versions. The animation is superior, the writing is crisp and acting is fantastic. And it probably won't get the recognition it deserves.

  • I remember this one from when I was a little kid. I thought it was King Kong or Godzilla, but now remember its Gargantuas. lol

  • I heard this on the beginning on an episode of SCOOBY -DOO MYSTERY INCORPORATED. It is called "Battle of the Humongonauts".

YouTube it man! It's like, groovy.

  • this is a nice song

  • laughing my ass off. hell no scoopy doo..

  • just saw this song on Scooby Doo.... catchy!

  • Scooby-Doo may be the best show of the past decade. Way better than it's ever going to get credit for.

  • @GunstarHeroes777 i find out about the song from watching scooby doo lolz

  • @GunstarHeroes777 I heard this song on Scooby Doo today, & had to find it on here :)

  • @GunstarHeroes777 Humongonauts is catchier.

  • the reason why i searched this awesome song is because i watched the new show scooby doo incorporated when the monster attacked the show

  • The newest episode of Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated was basically a rip-off of this. A girl sang this song, then after a huge green furry monster trashed the place. Later there was a red monster where in the movie it was brown.

  • @pepperandroses

They took the audio from this.

  • @Baldenlong77 i thought so. the sound quality in the show was pretty bad compared to the rest, so i thought it must be from something else, leading me to look it up and find this. They could've re-recorded it, but they didn't.

  • Nice to see Gedde Watanabe at @1:12

  • It would've been so much better if the creature had eaten her...the sight of her in the creature's hand as she's lifted up to its mouth, a look of horror on her face as she realizes her fate...then one final scream as she's shoved into the creature's mouth and chewed up...followed by the spitting out of her ripped dress.

  • I remember this was how I first saw this movie I was five years old at a hotel with my mom flipping through channels and this scene was on TNT, we thought it was a totally regular movie and then all of a sudden this fucking monster walks in out of nowhere! hahaha

  • Apparently, Kipp was an item with the film's US producer/distributor at the time Henry Saperstein, which was how she got this "special guest star" bit (as she is credited in the US version).

60s movies gave us a lot of bad songs like "Your Zowie Face" in "In Like Flint" but this one is just so cringingly bad its pathetic.

  • He's her biggest fan!

  • The worst song ever! I love this movie but that song. The song gets stuck in my head. Kip Hamilton who sings the song was Carol Burnetts Sister- in-law

  • This is Really Bad!

  • These are the most hilarious lyrics ever! Funnier lyrics couldn't be written if someone tried for years!

  • worst. song. evar.

  • Worst song ever which makes it the funniest best song ever!

  • I remember seeing this when I was a kid and thinking she was saying " the WORMS get stuck in my throat !

  • Ha ha! That's so funny :)

  • it would've been better if the creature had eaten her...the sight of her in the creature's hand as she's picked up...the look on her face as she realized her fate...then a final scream as she's shoved into the creatures mouth...finally the creature spitting out her ripped dress...it would've been so much better

  • Oh yeah, theres some stellar acting in this flick allright....

  • I bet something other than words got stuck in her throat....

  • I saw this in a theatre when I was about 8 years old. It was probably a satuday matinee. I remember this scene clearly, but I don't remember the song being so bad...

  • Great editing This film masterpeice should of swept the oscars!!

  • Man I remember this, I saw it in the theater when I was a kid. I have always remebered this song. I've finally heard again..It was bad then and even worse now. But it was alot of FUN!

  • now only if a giant monster could crash a Miley Cyrus concert

  • I thought the monster ate her, then spit out her dress.

    Did that happen later?

  • It happened earlier...the incident you're talking about happened druing the airport scene

  • It was a totally different woman.

  • I think Gargantua was just trying to tell Kipp he's a big fan of her singing. Or he really hated her singing and eating her would put an end to his torment.

  • This is the best!

  • For this DEVO fan, thanks a million for this posting.

  • The singer Kipp Hamilton is Carol Burnett's sister-in-law

  • Aren't we suppose to feel bad for the humans who get a taste of the wrath of gigantic monsters in classic kaiju movies?

Damn, I was applauding the creature's decision to interrupt Kipp Hamilton'slounge act...the arrangement was cool but she was completely annoying!

  • Comment removed

  • By the way, its the gal at the airport the gets eaten. The gargantuan then spits out her dress, like shells from sunflower seeds.

  • If you close your eyes real tight, the instrumental has a little Burt Bacharach/Hal David sound to it. I wonder whose sister she was, to get in the movie?

  • everytime she screeches WEERRDDSSS i wanna punch something, its sooo awful

  • LMAO

  • I saw this movie on a really big screen at Godzillafest a few years back. Good times.

  • Luv it! Luv it! Luv it! I remember this movie and even more this song from weekend creature features here in LA. Good times!!!!

  • What a voice. NOT! As for the song, not even Streisand could save those lyrics!

I wish a huge ape would grab today's lousy "singers" - Madonna, Janet Jackson, Britney Spears, Miley whatever her name is and throw THEM onto the floor. No jury would convict.

  • @pandorabangles LOL!!!!!!!!!

  • @pandorabangles you for got gaga

  • @pandorabangles Madona and Janet Jackson are kind of YESTERDAY though. I haven't heard of either of those two for a long time.

  • i just bought this double featured with Rodan and got to this part of the movie and just knew somebody would upload it, I always remembered it differently though, i thought it actually ate her lol, then spat out her clothes.

  • Damn! A singing career cut short!

  • I like that little Twist she's got go'in on.

  • Wow, that takes me back!..

  • THAT was one of the coolest things I've ever seen!! Its how my wife and I met, during a trip to Japan a few years back. Aaaaaah, the memories

  • And now that international singing star, Miss Annie Skilcky...

  • If my lips could only say the pretty words, that I feel in my heart. If my voice could make the sound I would tell you how I love you and we'd never be apart. But with just one look into your face, my mind starts to drift right into space. And the worrrrddds get stuck in my throat. The worrrrrdddss get stuck in my throat. If I had a hidden microphone hidden inside of my heart,

  • i would turn the power on. It would amplify my love for you and swear to always love you and you'd never be gone. But with just one look into your eyes I become excited and it's no suprise. That the worrrrdddss get stuck in my throat. The words get stuck in my throat. And everytime I try to call, i can't speak at all. Because, the words get stuck in my throat. The words get stuck in my throat. The words get stuck in my throat. hmmm hmmm hmm hmm hmm hmm

  • That was a really hip song... sort of a Burt Bacharach song. The trumpet player was on it!

Too bad about that monster screwing up the show... I could have listened to the entertainment all night.

  • Tears are in my eyes. It brings back some wonderful memories.

  • Holly crap! Me and my cousin used to crack up off this song and movie! Thanks for the post!

  • Gotta love the band!

  • Cinematic genius. Period.

  • Monster 5 minutes later..

The biiiitch gets stuck in my throat

The biiiitch gets stuck in my throat

  • "De BEECTH got stuck in m'throat,

De BEECTH got stuck in m'throat..."

    LMAO... good one !

  • LOL

  • She was singing so sharp he wanted to eat her to stop the pain. Poor monster. he just has perfect pitch.

  • It's amazing that the Gargantua drops her and she lands face down and not a drop of blood. Face perfect.

  • I love it!

The Gargantua is like "Your music sucks. Now I'm gonna eat you. Agh! Who turned on the light!?"

This really is a great film. I watched it a week or so ago. Hail Netflix!

  • Awesome. What an unpredictable combination of weirdness: Kaiju + Russ Tamblyn + 60's dance music. This is a must-see :D

  • The reason I recall this is in the Treehouse of Horror Comic Issue, this song is used in the last comic vignette about Homer becoming a giant monster.

  • heh-heh...I much prefer the little tune the band breaks into right when the monster grabs her.

  • And too BIZZYfob "I think that green one likes hip hop music". Well, not to sound racial here, but that monster does have kind'a a negroid apearance ( just look at him ), so he probably does dig hip hop,..or WOULD have had it existed then ( this being 1966 ).

  • Your mother has a negroid appearance too! Does she like hip hop>? Dumb ass.

  • The main audience for hip hop is young white males. If you think that all members of a race like the same things, you pretty much are a racist. So, yeah you do sound "racial", or just plain ignorant.

  • I realy dig this scene. How that hideous monster just apears when nobodies expecting it to. It starts out as this realy sedate scene and then, next thing you know, theres this big ugly slavering monster about to eat this broad in his hand. It's truely nightmarish.

  • It is her, but when this was released in America with an English dub, they chose to redub Kipp Hamilton's vocals and it ended up sounding terrible.

  • This sounded better in the Japanese original. This only sounds so bad because they had Kipp Hamilton's vocals redubbed for the American dub.

  • I watched this movie in the sixties or earley seventies and I love this song then and even more now because it brings me alot of memories. people thinks she got eaten after she finished her song but everytime it showed the reruns on tv she never got eaten, she only got bodyslamed:)

  • Wonder what else got stuck in her throat over the years? ;)

  • Kip Hamilton is very pretty in this movie. I wonder if that's really her singing this "wonderful" song? Check out the Kipstress at 2:13. Whoa.

  • i verrrrrrrry much hate this song grea the gargachooa is here

  • What a cool flick, I never viewed this before, thank you for posting it.

  • God I swear the singer gets eaten and is spit out! I don't even remember anything about a lady at the airport! I think they had two different versions of the same scene...

  • Yeah, but that was only in the American cut of the film. The original Japanese version cut that scene.

  • dammit, I thought he ate her too!! Anybody got the scene of the girl that DOES get eaten?

  • As sort of an inside joke the people who made Cloverfield should have had someone drunk karaoke this song at the party before the monster attacked.

  • That is one snappy band. I want them to play at my house.

  • I'll never forget the scene that still creeps me out that is unintentionally funny when the bad monster grabs a lady from a building, eats her, and spits her dress out!

  • Yeah, I had forgotten that the lady at the airport is the one who gets eaten.

  • thats right, it wasnt the singer who got eaten, it was the woman at the airport!

  • Everytime shes hits the high notes I cringe.

  • check the band...they totally rock!!!

  • i think the green one likes hip hop music...lol

  • Man, this shit brings back some memories, me and my brothers use to laugh about the bitch who sang this song. Your right she deserved to be eaten.

  • She deserved to be eaten.

  • But she wasn't the one that was eaten. I even thought she was eaten. I wonder why so many including myself think she was the one eaten. But I think there was another girl eaten. It's frustrating. Maybe I was wrong.
