He has no-one to blame but himself for his situation, he chose to do what he did and had he complied with his sentence he'd have been out long ago. But, he only played a very small part in the actual robbery, and murderers and paedos these days get much lighter sentences for doing far worse. So I don't think it would be too much to ask just to let him live his last few weeks outside on compassionate grounds as he's now done 10 years.

I think Ronnie Biggs just very great, he is for me a big hero and I admire him very much. I found the 1963 postal robbery simply awesome ... the other post office robbers are awesome ... they worked without a weapon ... just right gentleman. In Germany, after the movie "Gentlemen please check out" shot ... The film is a cult ... Freedom for Ronnie Biggs, he must be very fast from prison!
