This is pretty ridiculous, if they got in some reptile experts who could safely capture and transport a wild snake both men and snake would be fine. Instead they send some policemen with no knowledge, no experience, and no CLUE what to do apart from attempt to strangle it basically, Of course the snake bites him! Anaconda's bite isn't poisonous. (But, as you see, it hurts like hell because of the structure of that 100-toothed mouth and because of the snake's power.)

PS: Hmmm, here's a question off the top of my head: since several cops confronted that thing when they arrived at the scene, instead of trying to do something to remove the snake by hand, why didn't they just have themselves a nice shooting gallery?! ...I seriously doubt the Anaconda can survive gunshots by 5 or 6 cops!)
