just make sure when u activate the game it goes to computer/c/users/progman files(86x)/origin games/battlefield 3 if the game is not there when u have downloaded the game to your computer the game doesn't start just make sure if u reload the game don't leave any cache what is name battlefield 3 tm delete them all and try install the game again mine game started to work with that tactic thumb up so everyone can see !!!!!!

Its probably EA fails, make sure you update your origin or reinstall it.

If not go to Customer Support, if you bought the game on CD just use your cd key to redeem the code and you will get a digital version download of the game.

oh and one last gripe/ word of advice. dont bother trying to get help from EA or origin on this issue. to them this is a victory cry and a joke. trust me. they see this as 'wow, we are so popular that we crashed the system!!!'. the only suggestion origin had was to upload the newest origin version. does nothing. and when i tried using the 'chat' with a customer service rep, i had to wait 1 hour. when i finaly got to talk to someone, they didnt even respond to my question. at all. thats EA for u

oh and trust me, to anyone who has not yet picked up this game, i strongly urge you to hold off on it. the frustration of dealing with this bs is not worth it. i dont care how good the game is. there are other games to play in the mean time. wait for this game to come down in price, and wait for them to fix these issues. i truly regret purchasing this game when i did. had a known before hand what i would be dealing with today, i would have held off. at least until these issues were resolved.
