I played this game back in '04 (on ps2). It's probably the best sf of the whole series. Mattyboy714 is a genius. Thanks for the tips and strategies. If I get the game again, I'll be prepared to wage war. Keep up the good work. By the way, Gameshark offers some pretty good cheat codes like: unltd ammo, health & weapons. Check it out. Peace.

I played the newer one for PS2, Dark Mirror I think it was called, I dislike how they took away the seemingly endless amount of weapons you can achieve and how they don't they give you promotions and awards n such is disappointing. That and you can't create ur own character. It's a great game though but this is still the best.

u must do the jump glitch roll on the groumnd and while ur lower back is on the ground press x 2 times and he might jump in the air but make sure ur facing the middle broken window it takes a long time for u to do this so u mugiht wanna practice a little

I've done walkthroughs for just about everything possible in this game. All the levels, tips for ratings, and completing team objectives offline. Not much else i can do :)

You can unlock a headshot lock, but it's not very useful. It only works close-range, and you have to acquire a lock like with regular lock-on (i.e. wait for it to go green). The G53 is the best gun for auto-headshot-lock, but you still have to be very close to your target.

I like the Biz-9 because the ammo transfers to a lot of primary weapons. Also the Scorpion is a great starter weapon and easy for headshots because of its low recoil. MDS-7 is also good, too.

I don't use the auxiliary guns very much at all. Only time I use them is if I have my G53 and I'm in close-quarters. That thing can auto-headshot-lock very fast.

You can climb up there and shoot a window across the way and jump into the building. There are packages of C4 that you can use to blow up a gate on the far side of the area (across from first water sample) and then you climb into a vent and enter the area where the boss is. When you climb out of the vent, if you're silent, you can pull off an easy headshot on him.

You have to be running 95% of the time. To save time, Stun Jack the CHA officers on the streets before shooting enemies, and shoot the keypad instead of getting the key card.

you need to get a certain amount of kills. i think it's somewhere around 2100. check the section that has all the badges in it (like for knives, grenades, etc.).

just keep playing the game and you'll eventually get them as you go through the levels. if you really want to you can just run back and forth between areas and the enemies will keep respawning, but it's very tedious.

yes the kills are overall kills, whether it's a headshot or a grenade or a knife. so when you're going for the other ratings, the kills will just come naturally.

as for what levels, i'm actually going to make a movie for that, it should be out within the next week or two.

my bad. it's actually only 1300 kills. and 1100 headshots for elite sniper rating (or whatever it's called). just go for the grenade kills and headshots and the 1300 will come easy.

However, my very first time through the game was extremely difficult and I had no help whatsoever. I played the demo, which consisted of this level and it took me over an hour to beat!

Well this game isn't bad at all. I remember beating this game (without online) and having fun. This game is a game where people play it and then dislike it because it's too hard. I was one of them people but not any more after watching these videos. This game is actually hard for beginners but gets easier as you progress through the game. But like all other games it gets boring after you beat it multiple times, but not for me.

The one problem with this game (and the reason it got terrible reviews) was the difficulty curve. It's probably the opposite of what most other games are. I remember playing the demo for this game and it took me nearly 2 hours to beat the first Carthage mission. The map wasn't very useful, and you had Imani Gray berating you constantly. Once you figure out where everything is, though, the game becomes easy... maybe too easy.

Actually you can see the par time just by pressing start it is at the bottom of the screen next to your actual time...and to the guy that said the underground way was faster it actually isn't because you would have to go down go all the way around shoot enemies run up to the power supply shut it off then go all the way back the way you just came...to where as how he did it he just went one way faster..but that was awesome...pure beastitude

hi mattyboy714 i got a trick that can make eaze beatin the par on carthage 2. put your fa-mas on load out and shoot it one bullet then put in the ammo box and put it again and you get MGL. please tell me if you have your own trick :)

Yep I've done that before, it's called the Magic Box. You can use it to get any gun in the game.

Par time is the time you must finish the mission in order to start unlocking bonus missions. You can find out the par time at the end of each mission on the objectives screen. To get a par time you have to finish all the objectives under that set time.

This is on single player offline mode. In offline mode, you don't have to complete the Team Objectives (like getting the laptop).

To unlock bonus missions, you have to complete the required offline missions under the par time. So if you got par time on this level, try checking the other levels.
