This is how an Anthem SHOULD be done. It is not abot the performer, but about the song. And it SHOULD provide an opportunity for everyone to sing along like that, warts and all!

Too many performers butcher it to the point where you can't join in because it is unrecognizable.

I have never heard any fans sing our national anthem this loud. But as said, it would've sounded much better with just the crowd singing. Not only that, but I think it would've meant more as well.

i was there and it was so great that everyone was singing i got goosebumps then and i do know.GO ducks!!!!i was so happy that everyone was singing it.and people know know that Americans take pride in there anthem as well:)

Not many, but they're out there. I got a buddy here in Edmonton who's born and raised here, and he's a diehard Ducks fan who hates the Oilers. Haha its quite strange.

LET THE CROWD SING! america has a beautiful national anthem. it would sound so much better if only the crowd sang it! i never thought that people sing it though. hockey is probably the only sport? hopefully it changes into what it is like in EUROPE!!! peace

I was at that game, and I have to say, when we started to sing the National Anthem, I started to cry and could not get through it as it was very emotional..I just wish the entire nation had been able to see this...SHAME on NBC for failing to show that we have patriotism
