@AllAboutBrazil 6% are poor? That is all? because the South of Brazil is quite rich, but the North is very poor. Are you saying only about 3% of Brazilians live in the North? 94% of Brazilians are not rich. Yes, I've lived in Brazil. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Brazil. Most foreigners only care about Rio. That is stupid, there are many cities. beijos
I recently read a statistic that the figures are more along the lines of 30% in Brazil are in abso poverty, correct me if i am wrong on that figure.I have recently returned from my 2nd trip this year to Brazil as I am in the process of adoption,it is very hard to stomach what I have seen when coming from the UK,and people do not realise how good they have it.It is shocking when they put trillions into banks but not to put that into where it really counts, our own society.
I think unfortunately that it is likely to take many many years sorting out these issues in emmerging economic countries like Brazil. What I noticed on my visits to Brazil,is the wealth is owned by a handful of people,it is terribly unfair. You get poverty in the UK,but it is nothing like Brazil, because it is socially unacceptable and economically the UK is very established indeed.Upside is I love Brazil regardless of its issues, they will sort it out.Beautiful place.
iam not brazilian but i now this is not brazil ? i love brazil even do i never visitet befor ?america they are ! love to hied ther dierty shit ?this is parts of america how other people do not now abut ? i leve in america fo(r past 25years)this is america!!!!!!!!
@SHARIFOSA LOL Actually this is in Sao Paulo. I have been to this shelter. Yes, we have bad areas in America I work with street kids here too. But your comment is just funny.
Who made this video? This is not Brazil, That photos are other country, Brazil is winner in unfavelas, but still there are very few slums, in Brazil do not have these things from hunger because my country have created various social programs since 2000 and is now the country that grows around the world, he is drawn in several parts of businesses, Besides the industries are coming here, people are coming to live here, This is Not Brazil
@Rodrigoewf This is a city in Sao Paulo, it's not Sampa. I have been to this shelter. Yes, there are favelas and street kids. The world knows don't lie about it. It only makes you look foolish to the world. We know Brazil has good things and bad things. You have programs in Brazil, but not every1 takes advantage of the opportunities, and you also have corruption. Like anywhere else.
@TheTravelfool what it sampa? every picture? i don´t understand, only pictures then show for us only poor, actually this picture don´t show for us the beauty of this country called Brazil, there is image don´t from Brazil, i see in journal in Africa, any pictures there, who´s enjoy the opportunities here, only the poor brazilian population, corrupition of course have in any places, but that don´t change what i think!!!!!!!!!
@Rodrigoewf Vc tem certeza querido. O mundo precisa ver as coisas legais sobre do Brasil e nao so as praias.
This is another CRAP trying ti picture Brazil as a miserable country that need foreing help and money.
Why the hell people LOVES to show scenes like these but hide everything that I show in my playlists on my Youtube channel? THIS IS NOT BRAZIL. THIS IS THE WORST SIDE OF BRAZIL.
What to know what is like Brazil? See my playlists.
@carioca599 This man has started shelters for street kids in Brazil. He has been one of the biggest contributors of helping women and children in the favelas from finding and keeping jobs to stopping alcoholism and drug addictions. He has lived in Brazil since 1998, and I had the honour of meeting him when I lived in Brazil. This is just the bad side of Brazil, but both good and bad of Brazil must be shown. beijos. I will make a video of the good things.
bless you for your work, all children need to protected and given the oppontinty to be free on there own land. i done a little research into street children in brazil and what i read almost brought me to tears. God will bless you and your organitaion, but woe to the goverment and the rich minority who live a lavish life while kids get murdered on the streets. Brazil being a Catholic country should be ashamed. The words Christ needs to be ruling in all goverment affairs.
They buy it from shoe repair guys for a few cents you can get a daub on a peice of plastic bag, then you huff it till you get high. You can tell the ones that use it a lot by the way they twitch and often their eyes start to track weird, like one wanders off to one side as they are looking at something. After a while they stop eating and often die from dehydration or starvation in some dusty corner of an old building.
wish you even more courage, strength and luck .. if there's a day I meet you, it will be a very special moment for me

There are much worse places to be homeless. I grew up with friends like this. Glue kills them.
