  • i dont think the tore it down i just rode pass like last week and the rides are still up!

  • Bluegrass Boardwalk (previously known as Kentucky Kingdom) will be an amusement park located in Louisville, Kentucky, USA.

So, basicly its being bought by a company and the park will re-open Next Year! Sad thing is though its gonna be a kiddie park.

  • Although it's very sad, it's a perfect setting for an apocalyptic or a scary movie.

  • The park still looks good. I'm sure the stability of most rides are not as good as it looks though. The one creepy thing about this video that topped it off was the clown.

  • I wish I had the chance to have gone before the closing...I want to check it out now after it hit and see all the damage in person....it would give me an eerie feeling like the video did and I wasn't even there but it felt like I was...although all the vandalism would ruin the experience and stuff being moved around by foolish people...Oh well...and I thought the park is still there....they didn't demolish it did they???

  • I think the most depressing part(s) is the sing chairs they are all rusty, broken, just lightly swinging and the music at that part :C Sad to think what it looked like as the hurricane actually hit it what stuff was flying around...If someone died..I know they closed it down in preperation but never opened it back up but just the thought that after they closed it...if someone went inside to be foolish and then when Katrina hit they were already too late.... :C

  • Wow. Reminds me of Saltair in Utah. I think this is what Saltair likely would have felt like (before it was demolished, of course).

  • the longer they let the park sit there the worse its going to look! i say the city of New Orleans should approve the southern star amusement buy out for the park!! that way people can clean it up and create jobs and give people in New Orleans something to do!!!!!!

  • GREAT! What camera did you use? It looks so real! Like the intro to a zombie movie.

  • The music makes it creepy. Especially when you see wheel chairs laying there in the street alone. it's like aliens abducted everybody, or some maniac shot up the place.

  • it doesn't look that damaged to me

  • This is one of the most eerie things I've ever seen (the 28 Days Later soundtrack doesn't help)

  • they were but it was so destroyed they did not bother fixing it.

  • Beautifully shot. Shame about the park but so good for this film. Btw, weren't they insured?

  • what kind of camera did you use? and how did you make those smooth tracking shots?

  • fact: before it was called six flags the name of the park was JAZZLAND. I know this because i was a child about 5 when the park was renamed. i am fifteen now and im still living in New Orleans aka THE BIG EASY. nothing will stop us from coming back to our REAL HOME.

  • This is where The Joker would hideout while plotting his next scheme.

  • This makes Six Flags, the Family Friendly Park, look like an abondoned 2012 Zombie Outbreak town that went down the shitter. The music is creepy, and the pictures are taken so well that it looks like a Horror Film. You know, for a creepy-looking fucked-up town, I sorta had a laugh at the sign at 0:37. "WELCOME 2 ZOMBIE-LAND KIDS." Lol.

  • @nolyortiz thx :D

  • This music & athomosphaere reminds me of left 4 dead 2's Dark Carnival^^

    It's very depressing though :&

  • The hell is the song name?

  • @pastramiandrye i forgot ill have to look it up for u :D

  • @pastramiandrye godspeed you black emperor

  • thats weird how in 2012 if i am readin it rhight there was sopose to be a new coaster or soemthing

  • It gives you chills when the swings are moving 0_0

  • Great cinematography. 5 years later and I'm still finding out new things related to Katrina. It was only a cat 3. Imagine if it had been cat 5 at landfall as forecast. All of New Orleans could have ended up like this.

  • Fantastic short. Great cinematography!

  • It looks like the start of a horror movie. - Tom

  • this place is still here it never did get demolished or whatever else

  • this would be a great place to film a movie idea i have

  • Wonderful Job. As depressing as it is, it still tells a story. I'm from New Orleans and now live in (of all places) Biloxi, Mississippi. I lost my business that faced the gulf of mexico. Katrina is still a huge part of our lives here on the coast. Guess it always will be. This was just amazing. Four Stars!

  • @sophiapuppy thank you so much, I hope you get your business back up and running :)

  • amazing shots!! so sad it never re-opened the damage didn't seem that extensive, at least they should of sold the roller coasters and made money

  • Im surprised there isnt anyone with about ten pick ups scrapping the place

  • Everyone, this isnt this guys video. He stole it from another person, and didnt give them credit.

  • what song by godspeed is this?

  • I was watching this half expecting something creepy to pop out. Gives me the shivers.

  • you dumb bastid this is sum1 elses video

  • I fort something was going to jump out at me

  • My heart sank :'(

  • this shoud be on Vimeo, people would go nuts over it

  • great camera work, it looks like it would be in a film.

  • nothing creepier than an abondened amusement park with piano music
