Oy just because they come on back to back doesn't mean the two shows are even remotely comparable. They're two completely different forms of comedy. It's like comparing Scrubs to ER. The office is a dry, sardonic mock-u-mentary, while 10 items is more of an old fashion sitcom. The Office captures awkward true to life moments while 10 items works off of outlandish characters and even more outlandish situation. It's really not fair to compare them. Both shows are good in their own genre.

Pretty obvious ripoff of The Office, sans the humor. TBS: Very Unfunny. Both have annoying bosses, difference is I could feel sorry for the one in The Office. This guy is just obnoxious. And his over-acting really doesn't help.

It should've been. You can tell he's trying so hard to say something funny and it's just hitting all the wrong notes. The Office works because the characters don't seem like they realize how funny their situation is. 10 Items doesn't work because their desperation is so obvious.

Surprised this wasn't canceled, but then TBS has very poor original programming, since they air about 5 episodes new of House of Paine every week. They also think one 10 second part in a movie is funny which then makes it a comedy, so they get rights for it and air it.

Well TNT is apparently all drama, and they aired Shrek about 2 weeks ago, and said another dramatic movie up next in the credits which was Shrek airing right after yet again.
