Hi is this vorza stock cause it looks to me like its had gear upgrades..
Im sure mine dont run this quick and mine dont do wheelies it just lights up the rears instead..Is it worth doing the gear upgrade and dose the 2.4ghz radio make a big difference.
@hpischultz Speaking of gearin! have a little question about gearing my car. It does about 50mp/h out of box with 11,1 LiPo. 26tooth pinion and 64 tooth main. If i put a 29tooth pinion and 48tooth main/ thats like 10% increase on pinion and 25% decrease on main. By my calculation it would be doing like between 65-69 Mp/h are my calculation somewhat correct????
got the vorza and the savage flux and the cars are too much fun, it leave's everything else crying. nitro is so dead in rc, welcome to the 21st century,
hi can any one please tell me the potential speed after modifications as I'm going to buy one but really want a car that can reach speeds of 80mph plus also what would be the mods?
you need to first get the 2650kv motor change you gearing and new tires. Hpi has this list of part numbers and what speeds you can get from them , I suggest if you are interested you actually do your research and go the actual manufacturers website.
Look on castle's website, "The 2200 is 75mm long making it capable of handling more power than the 2650", the 2650 can only handle 4s too. HPI is just marketing that 80mph claim to sell the motor, the 2650 can reach 80mph but the 2200 can reach 100mph.

yes i have done my research iv been on the website and seen all the standard upgrades I'm talking about a bigger motor if there is one bigger than the 2650v brushless motor or and any other aftermarket products.
@yellowcorba1, the batteries and charger will be roughly $120, unless you shop at maxamps where your total price would then be accurate. Max amps is a rip off.
I was including the car and also I was talking about a good charger such as the racers edge surecharge 2000. and at my hobby shop 2 batteries is 250$ plus 100$ for charger and vorza is 650$ so thats about 1k total.
@yellowcorba1 well I only get $25 a week if any and I have a car that rivals this one and I spent maybe a grand for the car, wheels, mmm, 36-80-2200 medusa motor, 2x 3s 5000mah 20c batteries, ds1015 servo, onyx 230/blinky, and a 2.4 ghz radio system
and btw 250 for even 2 lipos is way too much I got both my batts for roughly 155
if you couldn't guess I just converted a roller off ebay
The MMM+CC2200 combo can rip a Savage flux around easily. This buggy is a feather compared to the Savage. I guess ceramic bearings are a must for this speedy setup. I love how tight this thing can corner. Too bad there isn't a central diff upgrade for the Savage flux.
it can do up to 73mph but thats with new pinion gear and spur gear plus a 2650kw motor and a new set of tyres. Out of the box with a 3 cell lipo it can do 51mph
@Tuff1990MustangGT I would recommend them selling them with bind and drive technology. I never used the stock radio in my vorza. The first thing I did when I received it was change out the receiver with a spektrum 3300. Nice car though. I love the Vorza and I even plan on racing it eventually. If anyone gets it, I recommend changing out the tires and wheels right out of the box if you're taking it to the track. Huge difference!!
holy shit

@MrAvo76 pulled it out of the box with 2 11.1 SMC packs, Stock tires stock everything. 2.4 radio is always a great upgrade.

First of all, knock of this CAPS bullshit, ffs, how old are you?.....
Second of all, i was replying to traxxas3333 because he said 100mph wich i thought he got the other way around, so i suggested kmh not mph.
And no, i don't think the Vorza does 100kmh out of the box either.

this is a rich peole car. because you have to buy the batteries 2 batteries btw and charger seperate so the total cost is easily 1k

Oh, one other thing... when are you guys going to start putting a good 2.4ghz radio in your kits instead of that old school crystal garbage?
HPI makes some good RC trucks/cars but get rid of those out dated transmitters. For $600 you should be getting 2.4ghz.
