Well if it can run the games your playing now quite well, then it was pretty future proof, but the PC I've choosing to build is only €650, and it has equal parts to your computer....

@BazBro Yeah it's worth it. I bought it 18 mo ago, and it should last 2 more years. The graphics card, however, needs an immediate upgrade! :D That's a good rule of thumb: Buy a gaming PC to last 4 years, then yank & replace the GPU after 2 .

Thought I'd give you a bit of news on my computer, I'll probably have it within the next 5 weeks... then I'll buy Fallout 3 first and do a couple tests, but knowing my GPU in it, it will max it out no problem.

@11Marsanne Sorry to hear. But of course the computer didn't die, just one of the components pooped. Which component, your CPU, or your GPU? Don't buy a new computer, rather just isolate the fizzled hardware.

@11Marsanne How do you know that the motherboard fried? If it did, then your OS (Windows I presume...) won't even boot up. But if you're using it to get on to YouTube, then your motherboard will survive, and your graphics card is prob the only thing that needs replacing. What's your current GPU, and more importantly, what's the wattage of your power supply?
