Enjoyed your viewing your adventure. We rode into the droop tunnel this summer and loved the trail. Hoping to bike the trail this summer end to end. How many days did it take you to go the 80 miles?
@leafstomper , nice video. My friend and I have rode a lot on the New River Trail and have decided to venture to WV and ride the Greenbrier River Trail. Great idea on using the toddler trailer for hauling your camping gear. You obviously rode to one end and back. If we were to have someone drop us off at one end and pick us up at the other, which end would you recommend we start at?
@daMacroGuy Hey this a great trail. If I had to ride oneway I'd start at at White sulphur springs and ride to cass and hit the train at the end of the trip.
No, we saw a couple that had two dogs. But the dogs just looked at us... Plus I have a can of HALT!! it only has to happen once then you learn to keep it handy.
awesome video, we just biked from marlinton to cass and stayed night in cass , rose train next day, then the day after biked back to our vehicle in marlinton and drove back to VA, we hope to bike the southern portion or west fork train in a month or so!
Thanks for the comment. I hope you liked this trial. I thought it was a perfect trail to ride. We plan to do it again this fall or winter. Just to mix it up. Maybe the bears will be asleep this time.
Did a day trip once a few yrs back while on vacation when the kids where younger...it was really fun...we camped @ Watoga & rented some bikes from a little store. Thnx for posting!!
My Dad grew up on the greenbrier river we used to go camping at Watogo St park every year until he passed. I now have twin sons in Ca and can't wait to get back east for good to take them there. Nice video

Great video. A friend and I rode the trail last year. We saw a black bear, bald eagle, 17 dear and smelled a skunk. It was a blast.

I have been on that trail. I went from Beards to Caldwell and I would like to do the whole thing some day. The trail is absolutely awesome.

We saw two possums that day. The last one almost ran into us. they were about 3 miles apart. We thought it kind of odd to see the during the as well.

nature photography was great but beware of possums out during the day, they are usually only out at night! Rabies, was my first thought!
