I have a huge problem. I have a bunny that is 1 1/2 years old and his name is Jack. HE HATES ME!!! I have tried to pet him, but instead he tries to bite me. He is very mean to our other male bunny named Oreo. He likes to be the boss at everything. I just don't want to give him up. He is actually very cute. Any ideas? THX!!!
@MarluxiaGal1245 its corny but "let him come to you". he likely feels like he is in a predator and prey relationship.(like he has to defend himself) a way to help this is to lay down/sit on the floor for a while before you try to pet him.reward him when he make ANY progress.your bunny isnt mean and doesnt hate you, it just feels threatened and its instincts are tellinf it to fight ir flight. remember bunnies and humans loving eachother is not a natural occurance in nature
For the past 2 months, my black bunny was gentle and sweet but then she started digging then thats when she became wild. We use to get a long very well, I would let her play while I was watching and she would jump and climb on me, but now when I carry her she starts digging, taring my clothes then she bites me. Can someone help me with this? I do have another one, those two get along every well but the white one is the sweet and gentle one, she never bit anyone.
My rabbit used to be really sweet but today she lunged at me and bit me really hard i was confused because i've had her for 3 months now and shes never done that before
@SummerFoxi how old i she? if she is 3 or 4 months old and is not spayed, that could be the reason. rabbits are very territorial and aggresive when they are teenagers
hi 1998Borat.....ur bun bun likes u thats why hes licking u......i asked mi vet coz my bunnies lick me too...and he sed it means they like u...like dogs wag their tails...bunnies lick u!
I have a question. My Dwarf Lop, Theodore, is very affectionate. He loves licking me and will follow me across the landing. Is this normal behaviour for a scared/mistrusting rabbit, or does he like me? He is only 2 months old and is still a baby :D
I would keep it in a cage but if its cold move the cage into a disused garage or a shed if the garage it needs to be disused because fumes from the car can effect its health. :)
can someone give me some advise since to make the bunny happy u put thme outside but i don't wnat to put her outside and have her run off, what else can i do.
well what i done was to get a bunny lead and put them in the garage or put the hutch outside and have a little run that attaches to the hutch so she can run in and out as she pleases
i got a new bunny and i opened his cage to let him get used to his surroundings but i have no idea how to get him back in and i don't want to pick him up since he doesn't trust me yet.
he is better now and he isn't scared of me anymore but my nephew opens his cage and chases him around which scares him but its cool i've got it under control.
LOL The more time you keep your bunny out of the cage, the better he will get used to the surroundings and the people around the house. Are you training him to use the litterbox?
omg his voice got on my nerves after 40 seconds. anyway my bunny is 11 weeks old and i bonded totally with her in 6 days. just leave them alone and slowly introduce yourself to them. dont stroke them on the first day but after like 4 days pick her up if she knows you and if u can stroke her so on. xx hope this helps u bond without speakng shit xx more info just message me x
a friend of my moms gave me one. Hes is like one month old but he gets scared real easy and i dont want to let him out of his cage yet cause im scared he will get eaten or he will run away what do you think i should do?
Well, you can train him to use a litter box and you can keep him lose for long periods of time inside the house. There are many videos here that teach you how.
this guy talks alot of shit.. i just wanted to know wah i have to do to make sure tht i bond wiv my rabbit and he deosn't mistake my actions for a threat but affectrion
Actually I have a lion head rabbit and I don't think the rabbit in this video is one since he just doesn't look fluffy enough. He's also kind of big for a lion head. Nevertheless, that rabbit is still adorable!
i think cos she doesnt trust u yet.......u only had her a few weeks so just give her more time and be sure to spend quality time with her. Just make her feel safe and secure.
nice video i got to rabbit whithe colour with red eyes one is male and the other female she is 12 week old and he is 12 mount old and plz tell me when my female rabbit will give a babyy thx

would it be ok to let my bunny in my garge instead of outside b/c i am scared it will run off
123isic 2 years ago
Well, you can most certainly put hi in your garage for a little run. If you want to let him outside without getting away, get him a run :)
