I have a huge problem. I have a bunny that is 1 1/2 years old and his name is Jack. HE HATES ME!!! I have tried to pet him, but instead he tries to bite me. He is very mean to our other male bunny named Oreo. He likes to be the boss at everything. I just don't want to give him up. He is actually very cute. Any ideas? THX!!!

@MarluxiaGal1245 its corny but "let him come to you". he likely feels like he is in a predator and prey relationship.(like he has to defend himself) a way to help this is to lay down/sit on the floor for a while before you try to pet him.reward him when he make ANY progress.your bunny isnt mean and doesnt hate you, it just feels threatened and its instincts are tellinf it to fight ir flight. remember bunnies and humans loving eachother is not a natural occurance in nature

For the past 2 months, my black bunny was gentle and sweet but then she started digging then thats when she became wild. We use to get a long very well, I would let her play while I was watching and she would jump and climb on me, but now when I carry her she starts digging, taring my clothes then she bites me. Can someone help me with this? I do have another one, those two get along every well but the white one is the sweet and gentle one, she never bit anyone.

@SummerFoxi how old i she? if she is 3 or 4 months old and is not spayed, that could be the reason. rabbits are very territorial and aggresive when they are teenagers

I have a question. My Dwarf Lop, Theodore, is very affectionate. He loves licking me and will follow me across the landing. Is this normal behaviour for a scared/mistrusting rabbit, or does he like me? He is only 2 months old and is still a baby :D

Well, you can most certainly put hi in your garage for a little run. If you want to let him outside without getting away, get him a run :)

I would keep it in a cage but if its cold move the cage into a disused garage or a shed if the garage it needs to be disused because fumes from the car can effect its health. :)

well what i done was to get a bunny lead and put them in the garage or put the hutch outside and have a little run that attaches to the hutch so she can run in and out as she pleases

he is better now and he isn't scared of me anymore but my nephew opens his cage and chases him around which scares him but its cool i've got it under control.

LOL The more time you keep your bunny out of the cage, the better he will get used to the surroundings and the people around the house. Are you training him to use the litterbox?

omg his voice got on my nerves after 40 seconds. anyway my bunny is 11 weeks old and i bonded totally with her in 6 days. just leave them alone and slowly introduce yourself to them. dont stroke them on the first day but after like 4 days pick her up if she knows you and if u can stroke her so on. xx hope this helps u bond without speakng shit xx more info just message me x

Well, you can train him to use a litter box and you can keep him lose for long periods of time inside the house. There are many videos here that teach you how.

Actually I have a lion head rabbit and I don't think the rabbit in this video is one since he just doesn't look fluffy enough. He's also kind of big for a lion head. Nevertheless, that rabbit is still adorable!
