This is honestly better than final fantasy, better than battlefield, COD, Mass Effect, Zelda all mixed together. I cried along with this game and literally gripped the edge of my seat through this amazing and gripping storyline with unforgettable characters. Ryo was like a rolemodel to me. I cried when i finished the game, thus beating it over 3 times.

This sounds so much like a song from Chrono cross...makes me wonder if someone caught a glimpse of inspiration or something. Strikes me deeply a CC song. Unlike most shenmue music which has deep oriental emotions in, this is very fantasy-ish. Still oriental in the drumming but yes, to me it sounds very squareish.

I really love that he created Shenmue 1 and 2 but absolutely hate him for leaving everyone hanging in the middle of the story.

The people behind Shenmue's music made you feel it, the music brought out the emotion, I felt like I was in Ryo's shoes everytime it was time to fight chase or sneak into things, the music makes your heart race, no other game has captured that type of style of music

Shenmue II is THE best game I have ever played. The story in this game is just amazing. The music is top notch. I have hoped we would see Shenmue III but it looks unlikely. I have my copy of Shenmue II and will keep it till the day I die. We will never see a game as epic as Shenmue II EVER again. Sadly, SEGA seems more concerned about a new Sonic game that looks horrible instead of Shenmue III despite our wishes. However, I do as well thank Suzuki for this once in a lifetime epic game.

Everything is golden about this game. Soundtrack, Gameplay, Graphics, all the good qualities that make a game A game. I think the real reason that Yu susuki is not making a third one is because it won't make money. I will happily buy two copies if thats the case

Hah I bet you gamble so much too. I win so much on those dice games. But there's a catch though you have to start the game again.. since your already in Kowloon. To get the bronze medal you have to be in Wanchai. So yeah when you start just make sure to meet Eileen(the one girl practicing in pigeon park) and Izumi the clerk at the Tomato Store. When you meet them tell me. I'll tell you where to go next.
