Play Counter strike source with gamepad !!!

I you wanna look up and down go in options and turn joystick off and mouse look on for some reason trying to have joy on and mouse look on it will only spin you with the left stick. You can also download xpadder 5.7 and set your buttons that way will take all of ten mins to do. But trust me using a mouse is a lot better you'll never aim faster than a mouse with a joy.

you can use a gamepad as mouse with xpadder its a programm to emulate a 360gamepad with any other gamepad so that you can play with ur ps3 gamepad on pc as well as with ur 360 one. gta iv for example just supports 360 gamepads

@MerlinUsesCtrl Sure, but here's my take on it: I'm an Xbox player mainly, I play on 10 sensitivity on CoD. You just have to get used to moving the joystick less, which I like a lot more than a lower sensitivity. Both ways are good though, just comes down to personal preference.

I can't stand playing FPS on the 360. I stick to other things when on console, and keep FPS to the PC. It's so damned frustrating trying to handle the thumbsticks. Only thing I don't like about PC gaming is that I can't kick back on a couch when I play. See, when I'm playing something like MGS I can comfortably just sit back and use a controller, whereas with something like CSS I need to be sitting upright and paying attention to what I'm doing closely and taking advantage of the precise aiming.

Actually, he does have the sensitivity a TAD low, im a 360 player, and my Sensitivity has to be the HIGHEST! or close to it, i may not be able to turn as fast as PC gamers, but its still pritty goddam fast! i thnk people like me with the high sensitivity and XP with the controller would stand a chance.

nice good job man. Yea, when I play FPS games I always have my mouse sensitivity to the max. Even right now I have it to max, it just feels better, move mouse half an inch and I go across to the other side of the screen. But if you get good with high sensitivity, PC or console, then you have much more control (as long as you can handle the speed, which obviously you can). Keep it up :D

This is really easy to do...Just go to options and go to mouse and choose joystick. Then go to controls and edit everything there. But trust me its really hard to play with a Gamepad(Joystick)
