  • Nice keyboard.

  • Fancy selling me it or know where i could buy one!!! haha ;)

  • The chrome ones take better pictures than the black ones....

    A joke???

I'm after a black M8 so your comment put the fear of god in me.

Thanks for the video- I'm watching every M8 vid on you tube before I sell my VW mk5 gti and take the plunge.

  • Awsome Keyboard , ;'D i always want that keyboard, no window key FTW.

Oh the M8 is great also.

  • UV-filter you don't need .....use clear glass if you want to protect your lenses, but as you have hoods on them not really extra necessary.

so f/11 on the street...let see some samples to compare to other street photographers ....and if it is really necessary to have an expensive Leica for it or if it is enough to have Olympus Pen or any other cam which costs only a fraction.

but I guess there are so many people outside who want to be like Henri Cartier-Bresson and this makes them feel good.

  • @geckogr I mention UV/IR Filters in the video as these are needed on the M8 in-order to avoid black man made fabrics appearing purple in photo's. As I say in the vid', I can't buy one to fit the Canon Lens but as I only use it for B&W, it isn't needed.

I tend to use f/11 & 250th as it gives enough depth of field to shoot hyperfocally between about 2 - 10m.

Use whatever floats your boat. For me, it's the M8. Cartier-Bresson? He's over-rated.

  • Just got a second hand M8 love it1

  • How much would this camera cost? and i was wondering what makes it better than a canon you can buy at best buy? i just need some help figuring out what a camera i need for photography/fashion photography?

    Sorry U.S dollars?

  • @Tulip12ILY

Secondhand, an M8 would set you back about £1400 - £1800 pounds ($2200 - $2800), depending on condition, shutter actuations etc.

It's the most `Film Like` Digital I`ve ever used, with great contrast, rich blacks & midtones and even a `Film Like` grain. It feels great to use, with no shutter lag and despite what people say, quiet, unlike a DSLR. Build quality is superb, and you won't find one at Best Buy :-()

Plus, it makes you feel so damn good. I don't miss Auto Focus.

  • cool,thank you very much

  • whts the brand of the thumbs up? how does it attach to the camera body?

  • Hi. It's called a Thumbie and it attaches with a very strong self adhesive pad, though easily removed if needed with no damage to camera. Costs a fraction of the Thumbsup.

Search on ebay uk for Thumbie. Very highly recommended.
