Mom, I was getting cold. Did you warm up the bath soap before you poured it on me? New babies lose their body heat quickly out the top of their heads. When you wet my head first I was getting cold. The other commentors were correct in being concerned about getting the cord wet. The water has some bacteria in it & you are not able to completely dry it.
Is it safe to fully submerge babies in water while the cord is still attached? I have four and I waited until the cord fell off to put them in water, otherwise i just wiped them with a warm soapy rag. But if it's safe then I guess it's ok. Everybody washes their babies in sinks.
@jon76398 how can they choke??? babies are surrounded by liquid in the womb so don't understand how you think they'll choke. Have 2 kids myself so know that's a myth
it's easier then bending over the bathtub on the ground. The sink gives you more control over the baby.....then they can go in the big tub when they learn how to sit up well :-)
will you put this baby stratight and kindly do not bend this baby, this will cause her anexiety and uncomfort, otherwise she will continue to cry

Because we're smart???
Big spaces may over whelm baby, sink is smaller, less anxiety...
&
Kitchen sinks are usually waste level, thus no reaching down hurting your back! And less chance of losing grip on baby!
