Phoenix is a nice place and there are so many things 2 do, and even though everyone is entitiled to their opinion I will say that it offends me when some people talk about how the place is boring. Because if u want 2 talk about a place bein boring move 2 Shreveport, Louisiana. Because Shreveport does not have a professional football team, professional baseball team, professional basketball team, or two international raceways like Phoenix does.

The end of the video shows construction which is now completed. It widened I-17 from 2 to 4 lanes for the next 10 mles to the Carefree Highway exits. Another project added a 3rd lane for 8 miles from there to the Anthem exit.
@flubbaj I may have mentioned this on another Phoenix video but yes you can enter and leave the carpool lane as it is an unbroken line from beginning to end
@flubbaj Yes, HOV lanes can be entered & exited at any time. Also, they are only HOV from 6-9 AM and 3-7 PM. They are general purpose the rest of the time in Arizona.

Nice video...I drive down the 'Old Freeway' from the Stack (Big Interchange w/ I-10) the the Stack Transition (little interchange w/ I-10 by the airport). That is actually not the oldest, but resembles a lot of the Santa Monica Fwy in LA south of Downtown. The oldest section of fwy is I-17 at Thomas/Grand or 2:46.

It's an '09 Corolla. Bought it in January. Unfortunately, I've already put 31,000 miles on it (!!!), but part of that is because I left California last month for a 3+ month tour of the USA, eastern Canada and Mexico. Expect well over 200+ HD videos from around North America in the coming year, and that doesn't even include any future recordings around California in HD. ::gulp::
can you film ABILENE,TEXAS hwys we have us 83/84 and 277 freeway on the west side of abilene,tx and bussiness 83/277 through city of abilene,txand we have tx hwy 36 (airport and crossplains hwy) and IH 20 (us 80) on the north side of abilene and bussiness 20r through city of abilene,tx and our tx state loop 322 freeway from us 83/84 to IH 20 hwy
Fun and very enjoyable video to watch. The I-10/17 interchange starting at 2:20 is absolutely excellent, and also the one at AZ Loop 101 and I-17 towards the end is also an interesting one, too. Wonder how new of an interchange the one at the end is, considering that I believe most sections of 101 are less than 10 years old? And is 101 ever going to be renumbered into a regular interstate number(i.e. I-417, etc.?), and is AZDOT gonna ever make it a full-fledged beltway?
No, AZ 101 isn't made into Interstarte-grade standards. Although HOV Lanes are almost done for Price Freeway, even this state freeway won't make it through Interstate-grade standards. :P And no, odd numbers go north-south (this freeway goes north-south AND east-west)

Thanks. That makes more sense than Southern California's carpool lanes.
This is more like how it is in Northern California, except there are only certain hours of the day that carpool restrictions are enforced.
