I was born in 1979 and I remember Michael when he was at his "peak". The fact of the matter is, he'd still be at his peak if he wasn't being blackballed, blacklisted and blackmailed by every tom, dick and harry out there. The media bullied him because he was great and untouchable and his peers hated him because they KNEW they were beneath him. His gifts were unmatched. That's why to this day, his music is timeless.

Never heard of this. Usher was out of his league. He's just too R&B to sing most of Michael Jackson's songs. MJ had so many different styles that he could sound could performer a song without using his singing voice. Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' was one of those songs where he wasn't really singing the lyrics. He was more so saying them with a lot of emphasis. Usher was singing it the way that he would have done any other song of his.
