  • Perfect

  • Fripp invited Sommers to play on this album strictly in order to upstage his technical ability.

It was his reactionary impulse to the popular success of The Police.

  • How to turn the middle 8 from Neurotica into 5 minutes of self induldgence.

  • @toneshards YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS

  • Hard to believe Andy Summers is almost 70 yrs old. He looks 25 yrs younger.

  • @bucky468 That's because this video was shot 25 years ago.

  • @guitarslim56 No he looks like he's in his late 20's/early 30's in this video.

  • Greta musicians, great music, awesome solos and quite a silly video but of course we'll forgive them!

  • Great tune, but an embarrassingly silly video. It would be better set to scenes from Kubrick's "Eyes Wide Shut" or something like that.

  • BYE THE WAY ANDY, YOU FOOL NO ONE DOG!

  • The video is terrible - but I love the song

  • Andy Summer: Lon Lord's Sarabande guitar player...

  • fripp could probably out shred anyone if he wanted to...and with andy's jazzed chords and classic rock lead...wow

  • Would somebody kick that stool out from under Bobby?! It's like a freakin' security blankie.

  • @owlandtree

When Robert Fripp stands up to play, the universe collapses within itself.

  • @legendofzelda101 hahaha

  • How is it that this has never been used as the music for part of an action movie? Say, a fight scene or car chase.

I have this on tape, but not digital. Haven't heard it in ages. Thanks!

@hutchinson: musical self-reference is not a bad thing. Weaving a recognizable melody into another piece is sort of an inside joke. Jazz musicians do it all the time. And you can find Steve Howe, for example, putting a bit of the "Close the Edge" theme in "Tales from Topographic Oceans."

  • wow. they actually keep a straight face ith the women dancing..

  • More like Fripp and Summers, two west country lads communicating in strange-sounding english, whipping up some masterful guit FX far too early to be generally acceptable. Delicious, hilarious fun! Thanks wksufreshair! rotter:)

  • What can I say ? Sonicdeath 10 write exactly what I had in mind since I discovered that clip. The rest of the album, which I bought on vinyl a few months ago, is not as entertaining, but still very interesting.

  • fripp makes it look so easy

  • Asians chicks rule!!!

  • What's that strange acoustic Summers is playing?

  • I can´t stop listening this!

  • By the way, what Summers does here is pretty awesome too: the rhythm work is rock solid and if you're a guitar player, the chords he's playing aren't exactly easy to play. Some very strange formations. His solo is cool in a more "rock and roll" way but it playfully contrasts with Fripp's work. I just ordered the 2007 re-release of this album. Hoping it's as good as this!

  • @sonicdeath10 i think that it will be even better

  • Why is it that at any given point Fripp will be the most uncomfortable out of place looking person in any room or situation? He looks like a deer in the headlights in this video and almost always does in any other situation. Just the look in his face or something.

  • i think i saw this on VH1 once in the mid-80s. thanks for posting.

  • super duper from the boys from georgia...

  • o shit i just noticd its king crimson him i herd of got to read the fine print at the bottom

  • It's jusr simply divine:D

  • Great song from one of the most under-rated albums of the eighties. Materpiece!!!!

  • Is Fripp playing a Roland Syntetized guitar???

  • @Refrescospepito isn t that more summers department? and i always liked this instrumental.

  • @cosmicrider287 yOU KNOW IT THIS IS GREAT HENREY I NEVER HERD OF THEM OR THIS BEFORE THANKS.CAPS WAS ON SO WHAT IM REEWRITEING IT LOLOLOLO

  • @loislombardo IM NOT REEwriteing it lololol420

  • @Refrescospepito Yes, Roland G-303 driving GR synths. Andy Summers uses similar equipment. They both can do amazing shit with it... :)

  • Wondrous beauty in two senses. Two masters from two of the best bands ever get together and release a foray into intelligent musical spaces.

  • Great stuff, thanks! Never have seen this vid :)

  • a classic!

  • good video great guitars summers - fripp uff

  • 1min01 sec the most beautyful woman ever!!!!
