  • could i get a school of 8 tigerbarbs and two tinfoil barbs in a 40 gallon tank?

  • Ugly freshwater fishes, dude get into marine fish keeping, that's the beauty of the hobby

  • nice tank!

  • How large do the tiger barbs get?

  • These aren't tiger barbs.

    Red-finned Tinfoil Barbs: 8"

    Tinfoil Barbs: 15"

Make sure you know the difference when purchasing.

  • very nice setup looks well nice welldone please check my setup and comment thanks i got quite a large barb in there

  • healthy fish.what diet?

  • they were on tetra tropical flakes when the video was made. Now they're on Omega One and doing even better (more vibrant colors)

  • Thanks. I've tinfoils a month old and trying to avoid them just getting fat.I like the elongated look.

  • Add some frozen blood worms or beef heart, with some mixed vegies, Make them even healthier and more colerful. You have a very nice set up.

  • Man, nice tank and nice video, the music fits perfect with the fish, Very Nice.

Those fish you have could be cool with a New World Cichlid?

  • nice tank. guys whats the maximum size of a tiger barb? and can he live in a pond with like seven 8 inch carps in it?

  • Feeding Frenzy!!!

  • I was like wow that sounds familiar. Oh he's listening to Five Iron Frenzy. Me oh my.

  • i really dont like my redfinned barbs they are just spazmo fishes and i just want to get rid of them

  • ya. i dont like barbs. i have an angel fish,a guppy,2 fantailed goldfishes,1 comet goldfish, and 1 firemouth cichlid. the cichlid is seperate.

  • Not sure which you're referring to, but the names are in the video description so hopefully you can figure it out.

  • How much is that gourami? Some guy tried to sell it for 18 and a neon tetra for 4.50 i knew he was craxy

  • the gourami was $1.70. anything between $1.50 and $2 is a fair price...that guy is definitely trying to cheat you! lol

  • Hey man i love your tinfoil barbs do you have a pearl gourami in there? If so do they make a good community tank fish?

  • It's an opaline gourami (three spot gourami). It's a pretty good community fish, but it likes to fight with my congo tetras (not in this vid!).

  • You put Beunos Aires Tetra with Tinfoil Barbs O.o. Cool! I tried that once they thought the Tetras were feeders and ate them :'(

  • the tetras are too big for the barbs to eat, otherwise they would. Either buy big tetras (unlikely), or buy some and grow them out in another tank.

  • get some propper fish in there lol

  • nice tinfoil barbs!

  • ur overfeeding (like most ppl)

  • I don't think you realize how many fish are in there, and how large they are. These aren't neon tetras guy.

  • right...and if you dont kno stndrds79 .... tinfoils hav a big appetite.... they neww more food than other fishes.

  • i meant need*

  • Nice fish and tanks!!

  • Sorry, you're just wrong. Both are quite awesome.

  • That's their opinion, they can't be wrong. personally i don't really like the song but the tank is good! i wouldn't design my own aquarium like that but that's jsut because it isn't really my style. it's pretty though! good job =]

  • you should feed them bloodworms

  • i've been meaning to vary their diet a little. I give them turtle pellets, but that's not really that much different.

  • dude you really should get the golfish out of there for the health of your other fish

  • they'll only endanger the health of the other fish if they get sick. I know they're more likely to get sick when kept outside their temperature range...but I put sick fish in a quarantine tank for that very reason, so it doesn't really matter.

(sick goldfish will probably just go in the turtle tank anyway...)

  • true!!

  • i agree!!! but how come you keep them with your tropical? were they from an old tank or something? oh well whatever floats your boat!!!!:0

  • they're feeders for the turtle. they'll come out...maybe. They're just so cute I can't get the stones to do it. They're like that fat kids on the playground. lol.

I have a seperate tank full of feeder minnows, but that's also heated so it doesn't make a difference. At least this way I get to enjoy them for a while.

  • LOL you should keep them they're cute, but i would scrounge up some money when possible to try to get another 10 or 20 gal coldwater for them... if you do choose to keep them. if i were to buy feeder fish i would buy fish that are ugly and all look the same so it's not so hard LOL. =]

  • get those goldfish out of there

  • no.
