its nt really a monkey, its NOT an ape, its an ORANG UTAN! the name is in malay language, and when translated into english it literally means jungle person. mostly found in asia. probably in malaysia? hence the malay-influenced name..

@XxHaKuNaXmAtAtAxX Monkeys are typically small and have long tails. The apes are different and are generally much smarter, larger and have virtually no tails. These include Gibbon, Chimpanzee, Gorilla, Orangutan, Bonobo -my favorite and the closest to us-, and of course, Humans. Monkeys are Primates too, but not Apes. Significant difference.

i thought an ape was like a different animal all together. like you know how you gave me examples of apes, i just thought an ape was a different animal but similar to orangutans, chimps and gorillas. i don't think i've heard of BONOBO and i know i've heard GIBBON and seen a picture or maybe in real life or whatever, but i forget lol .
