@gwsslowstick Hi Chris, never got far enough to put it on a plane, one engine had the carb on the back and no way (that I could figure out) to make a mount, the other had no way (again that I could figure out) to make a prop mount.
Hey the motor runs and sounds good should do the trick. I have seen many people use them on you tube.The F5E looks great as I told you I have one also but it's a 64mm ducted fan. It hauls for a 64mm so that thing should be wicked fast, controls on mine are very sensitive have them way down on throws. Be looking for both projects to start Have a Merry Christmas you and your family.
Good job on that prop adapter! I don't have a lathe and never have been able to make any weed wacker conversions work...
