  • What does it say about people who expect something for nothing?

  • Stupid video. Do you realize how much it costs to become a doctor in loans for med school etc? And then you have the audacity to expect a doctor to just work for free? Maybe you should become a doctor (even though you'd likely never make it like most people who try), and then see how you like it when some douche says its your duty to save the world now and get nothing for it.

  • fight poverty, bomb favelas

  • The difference is that cops and firefighters are paid by taxpayers. Doctors are not.

That's the fact about American medical care.

  • @CrumblyCloud Until you have a life threatening condition and you must fly in to the US to get treated before you die waiting on a list.

  • Good god! Another future Michael Moore!

    watch?v=cD0dmRJ0oWg

You didn't mention why those people where at the hospital. You did not say that they were in critical condition. If they were in critical condition, they're not going to be turned down because they didn't have insurance. If they have headaches or a sprained ankle, or a paper cut, they will be turned away as they should be. Hospitals aren't funded by taxpayers and that is a good thing!

  • police officers and firemen ar epayed from tax money, meaning, basically, you ''insure yourself for these services, by paying in advance for them per month or per transaction. Medical care should also be insured always, it is way too crucial not to have backed up for anybody, and nobody knows for sure they wont need brain surgery the next day. Medical insurance should be a rule for every one therefore. We use rules to protect eachother, wear a helmet, a rule. Wear a pass for surgery? RULE :)

  • Onision, if you believe that everyone must have medical care.

You have to support high taxes, without high taxes this cannot be done unless you want America go into deeper debt and collapse the economy.

  • I seen that show. (& it's a show, not real life) The hospital saved her life. Then she wanted every test the hospital could run on her ran. That is when they told her she had no insurance & no way to pay for that extra work so they told her to get out. The police and Firemen are paid from the taxes collected from everyone. Obamacare is not free, it just forces people, to buy medical insurance or else be fined and the IRS will collect the fines.

  • um, my mom is an rn, and she treats patients in critical care every day who dont have medical insurance. they dont kick them out, and they dont demand every penny they have. the slack is picked up by taxes, which is part of the reason our health care system is broken. people arent required to have insurance, yet how else can they pay? try to get more reliable sources than 2nd rate tv shows.

  • im glad i live in australia

  • Those people in white clothing in America, they aren't Healers, they are bussiness men.

  • I really wish it were so easy... however, my husband is a teacher (low salary) and when I leave med school I will have over 200,000 school debt. Midwest salary for a primary care doc is about 85,000. Take a third of that for taxes = I'm left with about 57,000. After malpractice insurance = 50,000. Raising a family and paying off debt doesn't leave me with much more than many other people. Several people come in every day without insurance, I couldn't afford it, and I could get sued if I did.

  • the NHS isnt that good. but everyone loves it with a passion really.

  • There was a story where Firemen let a house burn to the ground because the owners didn't pay and in that city they had to pay the Firemen... There were no people hurt or so but I think it's strange. I can't remember where exactly it was but it was in the US somewhere.

  • NHS FTW! :D

  • Check the law, the police and fireman don't have to and don't always protect people. Again what a moron, know the truth before you open your mouth.

  • @daddyg321 Then what the point in having them? We pay them help us and if it means harming one serial killer to save countless of innocent people, then so be it. On a side note, I'm not saying it's right to kill someone, there are options beside that, but sometimes it happens.

  • @narulov56 What does this have to do with my comment?

  • instead of bitching why don't you go study medicine and help people yourself... Most of these doctors are employees who can't always do what they want

  • I agree. I'm a student and I have no job. I'm19 and I was kicked off of my insurance because I didn't get the letter saying I needed to sumbit another forum so they assumed I didn't need the insurance anymore. Even though I'm in outpatient mental health care and I need my presecriptions. I hate the health care in this country.

  • yeah, no no no

    this was stupid

  • Thank goodness I live in the UK.

I feel sorry for all Americans that you live in such a strange backward country.

  • blah blah blah

  • @TonyOneKenobi why did you comment about that he's just saying what he thinks about something and i agree with him what if a child or any one is ill and they don't have enough money to pay for the meadical care do they let them die?

  • @cheeseisniceable The you are obviously a 14 y/o girl then!

  • @TonyOneKenobi and how do you know that?

  • @TonyOneKenobi did you come to that conlision by looking at my comment?

  • @cheeseisniceable Yeah I can tell you young sycophantic fangirls a mile away.

  • @TonyOneKenobi just because i'm being nice that makes young and a fangirl?

  • @cheeseisniceable No the fact that you bothered to reply to my 'blah blah blah' message defending him does. Got nout against you. I'm just sick of Gregs preaching, if he care so much why dont he fucking do something about it. Trust me its all for show. Onision has staled out over the past few years. I may have been wasting my time leaving a message saying 'blah blah blah' but you have wasted more time responding for no reason other then showing your devotion and love for Onision. Peace to you.

  • @TonyOneKenobi ok lets end this now

  • @cheeseisniceable Yeah I'm sorry!!

  • well techinally, the american dollar is worth as much as a person believes it to be, there for if a person believes it to be be worthless.. it is. there fore these doctors only believe that a humans life is worth as much the dollar... which in essence is nothing.. there for as far as human life concerned in america... they are worth nothing.

  • Seems like they shouldn't be able to turn a sick person away. That's very inhumane.

  • Being a doctor isn't an easy job. if a surgeon occupied an OR to help a person without health care they could easily get fired, meaning that they'd hardly be able to survive with their money. Not only that but you do not pay the doctors through health care, and you aren't paying the police through taxes, you're paying the government. They're the ones using only a certain percentage of all of that to pay them while the rest is used for things you don't directly need.

  • Ohh waaaah, illegal immigrants and people who don't work can't afford health care like hard working Americans. AND WE DO PAY THE POLICE AND FIRE...IN TAXES YOU FUCK TARD. So, lets run this down...Working Americans make their money, then have to pay not only THEIR healthcare, but the healthcare of others who are freeloading on the system. GET A FUCKING JOB AND YOU'LL HAVE HEALTHCARE FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.

  • @TheGreatStonedOne we also pay doctors through taxes...and insurance, so doctors double screw us, so shut up.

  • @JimmytheTexan1441 Oh, a person from Texas, what a surprise. Bush and Jessica Simpson are from Texas, eh? Way to carry on your states sparkling reputation for intelligence. MEDICAL PRACTICES ARE PRIVATE BUSINESSES, THEY RECIEVE EXTREMELY LITTLE TAX PAYER MONEY. Fuck TARD.

  • @TheGreatStonedOne So, hospitals are ALL privately owned? *btw my name is a pun on how many texans are named jimmy, not really texan)

  • "The Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act (EMTALA)[1] is a U.S. Act of Congress passed in 1986 as part of the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA). It requires hospitals and ambulance services to provide care to anyone needing emergency healthcare treatment regardless of citizenship, legal status or ability to pay." (From wikipedia). I admire your passion, but you need to dig deeper to understand the issue. Non-payers make medicine non-sustainable...

  • MEXICO has better health care systems than we do.

  • wow thats really deep and really true.. I <3 ONISION!

  • i think (and yes i know and understand that what ima say is horribal and to be considered in-humaine) that there should be a mass kill of humans. to lower the numbers.

i think this because we are rapidly consuming the earths recorces. call me horrible but im actualy glad that there are diseases and other shit out there that kills us. so the fact that the amercian doller is worth more then a life (as bad as that is) i believe that its the right thing. in a way?

  • he is quoting a movie and compare it to andy griffith ... you need a doctor to fix your erogenous qualities

  • It's the insurance/drug companies, not the doctors!

  • its so fucked up that the states doesnt have universal health care yet

i wish you guys down there good luck, hopefully it happens one day

  • I'm not even going to watch this video, knowing how much of a liberal fanboy Onision is.

  • Let us suppose for a moment, that all hospitals and doctors adopted a policy where no one would be refused care or turned away due to lack of payment. That all doctors were to give care regardless of the patient's ability to cover the cost. Who would pay the costs? Under such a system the only people who would pay for health care is those who do it voluntarily. One can now see that the responsibility does not lie on these "rich doctors", but on the patients who were not charitable enough to pay

  • to add- most doctors in the real world would have treated that patient (from the tv show) no problem, they would have just charged him the full amount. but i think understand, your main question is regarding those few shitty doctors who care more about getting paid then helping someone who is dying and how we feel about them?

  • that's because they don't get paid per state funding like cops and firemen. i'm sure that if they got paid by the state, they would help everyone as cops do, we do pay cops and firemen, with our taxes. Doctors swore an oath to help those in TRUE medical need, the others are sent away. but i would agree that if doctors were paid like firemen and cops, and still didn't help everyone who came in. then they would be shitty doctors. doctors swore no oath to perform a surgery for free.

  • You and your friend have an exellent point. I have a few questions though. If a poor man goes into a hospital and needs a heart transplant, that would cost alot of money and if he can't pay it...I doubt that the hospital does favors. Also, if a rich man needs a heart transplant too, he's not going to want to pay for it either. He has the money. But he would ask " If he doesn't have to pay, why should I?" I mean no disrespect , I'm just curious on what your opinion would be on this.

  • Hurray for Canada!

  • I agree to the points you make, but don't assume all people receive the same level of police and fire emergency response. There are certain neighborhood in the chicago area that the police don't even respond to.

  • 1. Firemen and Police officers are paid by the govt. Doctors are paid by their patients.

    2. It is actually illegal to refuse medical care if you go to a public hospital

  • @darkdudironaji 1) The government does not pay them.

    2) People who earn an honest living by paying tax do.

    3) The government uses the money we earn to pay them.

  • @narulov56 True, but the state basically decides what they get paid. Even though we, technically, pay them, we don't decide their wage.

  • well, that's what is sick about the american system. Come to Europe!

  • @triftt come to canada

  • this is really good :)

  • watch two videos : Your Fascist Superhero, and How To Fix Healthcare Without Spending a Dipe. And try to get why i think this video is retarded =)

  • uhhh ya you have to pay firemen & police officers ya something called taxes oh to answer your imagine a fireman or police officer not helping you me & many others had that happen because of where we live & many other reasons

  • Very good point. Is it hard to except the truth. its hard to except the answer

  • wow onision your so true :) and careing its sad anyone would ever hate you :( i just dont understand why i just wonder if they think its funny or just like to be mean maybe attintion from you its kind of harsh or some one who actualy cares about the world. XD imagine if this video saved your life now beacuse ow you dont half to pay doctors think about it :<

  • wooh go Canada

  • I really agree with this(:

    Your awesome.

  • Why would a doctor deny care because of lack of money? Because he isn't being paid. What is wrong with that? You obviously don't understand something about working people: Working people work for THEIR OWN monetary gain, not for helping people. You can bitch and whine about it, but that's how it is/

  • free medical in britain, and our government is shit.

  • this is one of the reasons why im glad i live in australia...

i think America is getting medicare though...

  • This issue always has and probably always will trouble me. I cannot get my head round it. Here in the UK, where we have the NHS, and everyone gets free healthcare. To not have free healthcare is totally unreal to me, and it amazes me that in 'the land of the free, the home of the brave', that this happens. It's totally unacceptable in my opinion. EVERYONE should get healthcare for FREE!!! Hospitals are supposed to provide a service! I TOTALLY agree with you!

  • i never thought of that, but your right. it is fucked up.

  • NHS FTW!!!!!!

  • Well two things. 1. you do pay firemen and police's salaries = taxes. 2. With the shortage of nurses/doctors doesn't it make sense to help the people that benefit society the most first? ie they have jobs that provide wealth to treat illnesses? I realize it's darwinistic and very heartless, I'm not condoning it. But when there's a shortage, if I'm doing more for the whole I think my chance of survival should be higher. Thoughts?

  • Well, if we gave free health care to all, then it would over crowd hospitals, and make treatment not as good for people since they so many people to worry about. then if that happened, the people who can afford the care don't get it as good because of all those others there.

There would also be a decrease in really good doctors because they wouldn't get paid as well because they're being paid through tax. They would be paid like teachers.

  • @Sederwall We have free health care here in New Zealand. Whilst we certainly have our share of issues, our health care is amongst the best in the world. For those who wish to pay a little extra, we still have health insurance companies... and private health organisations that offer nicer after care rooms/meals etc. Because the government has made the system free, to overall health of our nation is improved, allowing those who are just below the line to be healthy & capable to achieve more.

  • @Splntrdotcom

I've lived in California and I took the buses, state owned and run. For the longest time they had this sticker in the window so everyone on the street could see, "America's Number 1 Transportation System!" Now, to anyone who has been to, let's say, New York, knows the subways are much better, but that didn't stop them putting that sticker on.

By whose criteria is that the hospitals in NZ is one of the best? Why would that imply that America isn't on par or greater?

  • @Bluedragon094 Not sure comparing health care to public transport makes much sense given the vast divide between factors.

I based my comment about quality on a report I remembered reading from the WHO, & personal experience (compared to that of my brother who lives in the US).

I never implied anything about the quality of the US system.. but the fact there was a call for reform, & all we hear is complaints about insurance companies, implies in of itself that the current system is not working

  • @Splntrdotcom

    That's fair enough.

    Thanks for the info.

  • You have to understand the overhead costs for the doctors. I think this would be less of a problem if America's national pass time wasn't lawsuits... If malpractice insurance wasn't so high or Docs didn't have to worry about someone dieing on the table and getting sued for it. Then people would be willing to help others more without risking they're jobs. Also younger docs have to pay off all the collage money.

  • Onision talks out of his ass quite often, but this is exemplary. He seriously has NO idea what the fuck he could be delving into. By the way, it's not about the doctors being greedy (though many doctors become this way and lose sight of what their job means to the world), it's about the fact that they can't do their job for free. Imagine if an illegal comes in, fatally injured - they aren't denied care. But then no one pays for that care. What eventually happens if this occurs millions of times?

  • I agree, my step-father died after being denied care

  • Most doctors are greedy bastards.

  • @cloogerdude He's married... to a woman.

  • America is just horrible :/ I can't wait to move to Canada

  • fuck the ppoor

  • Doesn't the USA have a health bill now? Like free healthcare?

  • @TheLovelyCupcake Yeah it just passed not too long ago

  • First time I ever witnessed a doctor not caring about their patient because they wanted their money, was actually a vet. Now you'd think being a vet, your reason for wanting to be a vet is to save animals, right? This lady came in with a pregnant dog who was dying while giving birth, and she didn't have enough money up-front to pay for her dog's surgery, but she said she would have it if they started operating ASAP. They refused and the dog and all the puppies died.

  • Don't blame this on the doctors, that's just silly. They would be fired if they'd constantly help people w/o insurance, it's not up to them who they are allowed/able to help. If anything it has to be insanely frustrating for them to have to turn people down.

  • @stevenv27

I agree dude, I want to be a Doctor, and I know I won't be able to help everyone. mainly because I am one person but also because I will be a Doctor, not the Business Men/Women who own the facility and pay for all the Medical Materials I need to save peoples lives. It sucks and I hate it but that is how it is, with the Medical Bill passed it will be more lives saved at the cost or more taxes. I see no harm in that.

  • It's fucking disgusting, how you have to pay for health care in the US. Disgusting beyond fucking words, I'm so glad I live in the UK, and not the USA, Obama passing this health care bill is the best thing that has EVER happened in politics. Why the fuck should you have to sell your house if you get a terminal disease like Cancer or AIDS?

  • @AntiJonasZone

The health care reform is going the exact opposite direction. This entire situation in the US was caused by regulation and lack of competition.

You have people who've never looked into political science or economics going, "YEAH, WHOO HOO! FREE HEALTH CARE, AWW YEAH!"

It's the blind leading the blind.

  • @Bluedragon094 Ah, but 1. I am 13 so I don't know sht about politics, 2, I'm in England, so I don't know anytthing about American politics.

  • Is it really safe to keep more and more people alive since the world is already overpopulated, by humans, as it is? I'm not saying I think people deserve to die but the earth definitely needs some to die in order to sustain itself.

  • Wow, I totally agree! I think about this all the time and its just so sad. I think everyone should get help and be saved! :(

  • @Bluedragon094 Firefighters and police aren't paid by us through taxation? On what planet?

People are dying in the streets, or more likely, in their homes, of things like cancer and infections because they can't afford healthcare, so they're afraid to go to hospitals.

What about that doesn't make sense?

  • @ziggo3

You lack reading comprehension skills. Every post where I've mentioned firefighters and police on this video has been about how THEY DO GET PAID THROUGH TAXATION! Why don't you, I dunno, ACTUALLY READ what I have to say?

No one's dying on the streets, and anyone who chooses to die instead of going into debt is mentally retarded, and if you honestly think that most poor people are choosing to die instead of going to the doctor, you're a dumbass.

    (cont.)

  • @ziggo3 (cont.)

The problem is that the gov't is corrupt and is going to fuck the system up more than it already has.

What do you think caused health care to be so expensive? Greedy health insurance companies? Yeah sure, with THE HELP OF THE GOV'T!

Who do you think lobbied to make it so only 6 health care insurance companies could be in california, making an effective monopoly? Who allowed those regulations to pass?

Fucking go make yourself useful and read an econ. book.

  • @Bluedragon094 So I obviously misunderstood one of your comments, but it was very poorly worded so I'll leave that on both of us. As for everything else, you need to pull your head out of your ass and quit trying to blame everything on the government. They're not some huge evil force and the second you try and make them out to be one, you lose all credibility, because anything that goes against your beliefs can be swept away with just "The gov't is lying." It's pathetic.

  • @ziggo3

Oh okay, you get to determine when my comments are poorly worded. I didn't know you were the universal sire of what is and what isn't hard to read, so I'm just going to leave that on your shoulders, as being dyslexic or only bothering to gather what you want from a single comment, disregarding the comments real context.

Well the great thing is you could've actually stopped and explained how my points are wrong, but instead of that, you straw man me. I never said the gov't was... (cont.)

  • (cont.)

... evil. They're working on the same principles of self interest as every single one of us, and what that means is that they're not angels. They're no more trustworthy than you or I, and are definitely in no better condition to solve social issues than you or I, and yet many people would rather rely on their judgment for no apparent reason, as if they could do no wrong.

Anyway, I did NOT blame everything on the gov't, which goes to show you're not reading my comments all the... (cont.)

  • (cont.) ... way through. The problem is that big business has the means to influence gov't while the common man due to lack of competition and a few other things, and gov't is more than willing to take a bribe here and there or a gift to sway their votes. Hell, if you've ever bothered to look into political science, it's a FACT that a politician's decisions on voting on issues is more easily predicted by who has donated to his campaigns then his very own political party!

    (cont.)

  • (cont.)

So, as someone who sounds like they've never bothered to understand economics or political science, you're going to turn around and tell me this isn't happening? That you're content with not even contending with the arguments I put forth?

I don't mind criticism, but tell me where I go wrong, AND WHY, next time. Anyone can just say, "you're wrong" and leave at that. It's not impressive.

  • @codexbiohazard And yet at the same time, THEY have to pay when YOU get hurt/sick. So yeah, you will be paying for a few douchebags who don't deserve care. Those same douchebags have to pay for you. You need to take the good with the bad and vice versa to be fair.

  • i may have had disagreements with you before but i have to tell you i am with you on this... don't pay a policeman to protect you or a firefighter to put out your house fire so why do we have to pay someone because we got sick... onision I'm with you all the way on this one

  • @Sephiden

WE DO PAY FIREFIGHTERS AND POLICEMEN! WHAT DO YOU THINK TAX MONEY IS FOR?

OMG...! Did some of you just drop out of elementary school?!

Is this just really bad satire I'm reading here...? fuck...

  • @Bluedragon094 what i mean is when the firefighters come to your home they do not say oh hey while were here do you have fire insurance... i mean if you dont i dont really think you can afford our help..... while doctors do do that... thats what i was saying... way to take things literally

  • @Sephiden

Again, you're RETARDED. I'm sorry if that's harsh, but it's OBVIOUS, PAINFULLY OBVIOUS, you do not understand how this works.

Doctors DO NOT turn you down if you do not have health insurance for life threatening injuries/diseases.

It's all a "treat now, payment details later" if you get my drift.

So no, your analogy with the firefighter going, "Oh you can't afford..." IS WRONG! IT'S NOT APPLICABLE! YOU ARE STUPID FOR JUST BLINDLY ASSUMING ONISON WAS CORRECT! Ugh...!

  • @Bluedragon094 why not use tax money for the doctors as well than i mean if its not that much for the police and fire department than it cant be that much more for everyone to pay a little for health insurance

  • @Sephiden

I don't even think tax money should be used on firefighters or police, but that's an entirely different subject.

I don't think it's morally right to force people to pay for another man's well being, which is exactly what you're purposing. Should anyone be liable for a man's heart medication because they decided to eat unhealthily the last 40 years of their life? Why should I be responsible for another person's bad decisions?

For say cancer that wasn't caused through... (cont.)

  • (cont.)

... lifestyle choices? Why can't they be supported through private charity without the use of coercion? The great part about private charity is that actually, if not all, practically all of the money goes directly to the cause that needs to be helped. When the gov't handles an issue, only a FRACTION get's to the cause, the rest absorbed in the bureaucratic management over hanging the department.

  • @Bluedragon094 what if you say get stabbed in a random attack and had no money to cover the medical bill than you have to borrow it and that turns into debt... what if your too poor to afford any coverage at all.. should we live in padded rooms and not be allowed sharp objects

  • @Sephiden Why can't private charity help me out? Why should I have the right to force the ENTIRE NATION to give me money?

What if I was antagonizing someone? What if I killed that guy's brother and he's acting on revenge? Do I really DESERVE to go around and say, "I'm completely innocent, now give me your money!"

  • @Bluedragon094 in that case imagine that a person tries to rob you and you get almost killed and have absolutely no way of paying the bill... not in a million years... than what

  • @Sephiden Then we're no longer living in the real world.

I can ask for donations, I can talk to charities, I can take a loan, I can ask friends and family for help, I could've, I dunno, possibly got a college education to be in a better financial situation.

What if I could never pay them all back? Better than dying. A diminished life is better than no life at all.

Furthermore you've ignored all my other points, I'm assuming you concede them?

  • @Bluedragon094 i didnt mean to ignore your points it was mostly me being tired and i no longer wish to argue with you on any points i think that there are far more important things than politics and im going to look into them instead

  • @Sephiden btw, what we should do is repeal all the interstate laws that prevent health insurance companies from moving state to state to increase competition, which causes prices to go down.

We then, once prices are more reasonable, start weaning the nation off using health care insurance, which will again LOWER costs.

The beautiful thing about competition is that it stretches businesses so thin that they do not have the means to hire lawyers and lobbyists to force favoring legislation in.

  • @Bluedragon094 Pull your head out your ass. You are not the only person in the fucking world.

  • @Aridcreaturehere

Where did I imply that I was the only person in the "fucking world"?

Also, you didn't bother refuting the points I sent your way earlier, are you just going to sit there and show everyone on this fine comment board that you're too stupid and ignorant to put a "selfish money-grubbing capitalist" back in his place? Apparently you are too stupid and ignorant because you have to rely on the logical fallacy of ad hominem to make yourself feel better at this point. It's pathetic.

  • @Sephiden Oh and some side points.

    1. Having the gov't control health care is going to make it more inefficient, just like every other bureaucracy out there.

    2. Reduce doctor wages which is going to reduce the appeal of people going into their eyeballs in debt via student loans just to get out with a PhD in medicine, which means you'll get less doctors.

    3. You'll get gov't standards, which tend to be piss-poor.

    4. You'll increase taxes across the board, plummet the nation... (cont.)

  • (cont.)

... further into bankruptcy, OR BOTH.

    5. You're going to stifle innovation. We'll get all our new medical machines from foreign countries instead of our own. New innovations come much more aptly when there is a desire for businesses to get ahead of one another, not when prices are fixed and jobs are so secure that you can't get rid of baddies. Terrible Teachers with tenure anyone?

You really don't want the gov't involved. Seriously, you don't.

  • UUGH! im sick of Adobe Updates!!! >.>

  • The care of Health should be considered a basic human right in this country, but it is not. I still don't see the justification for the system being the way it is.

  • @Aridcreaturehere

    Then you haven't looked.

  • you make a great point onision. and i completely agree with you. and in an unrelated point, do you think in the shower much? i know i do quite often and many times when we see one of your videos your hair is wet as if you had just taken a shower. well anyways you make a valid point and luckily that will end sometime in the future thanks to the bill.

  • @evilrocker19x

How can he make a great point when his first 2 points, police and firefighters not being paid for their services, is demonstrably false?

Let me get this crystal clear. If you're DEAD WRONG on your first 2 points, you some how make a GREAT point?

Wow, I feel enlightened. All this time I thought you actually had to be... Oh I dunno... CORRECT to make a great point. Silly me.

  • @oiuoiu988: Question do you make it your goal to make others feel beneath you simply because they do not see things from your point of view...? or are you simply bored...?

  • @oiuoiu988: No any one with half a brain can see that he has a great and valid point. Or are you saying that not every ones lives are valid..? are you saying that some people do not deserve an equal opportunity at getting better from there illness and a chance to live...? That it is ok for sum to live and sum to die simply because they cannot pay for medical care so there lives do not matter...?

  • @Blinded17Lullaby

Hiya, no Onison does NOT make a great point because his first 2 premises are false. Firefighters and police BOTH GET PAID. They DO NOT work for free.

Not only do they get paid, BUT WE PAY THEM.

Onison is WRONG about that, and you SHOULD ACKNOWLEDGE when someone is wrong, despite if you agree with their overall view.

I think you'd reach a lot more people if you converted the economy from crony-capitalist, to just plain capitalist.

  • I'm glad you have this viewpoint. I've often pondered - and scoffed, at your countries ethical approach (or lack there of in some instances) to healthcare. I'm just glad that your President has finally seen sense to push reforms through that will better your society as a whole and not cater to the elite.

  • haha i have free life care in scotland suckers

  • cry babys, get a life

  • In reality we do pay the Fire and Police Departments with our taxes. The idea is that we can afford things we all need if we pool our money together. It's a great idea because before this only the rich could afford things that we take for granted today like, school, police, fireman, army, and the like. This old system was called the feudal system. I believe this is what the Republicans want to return us to. Wake up America. United we stand. Divided we fall; to the rich.

  • Quit crying. Im sure if you had a job you would not want to do it for free either.

  • I have come to the conclusion that the only way to make a diff is NOT TO PLAY THEIR GAME. Since they write the rules as we go along. I dont value my Life over my beliefs, or money, or gold, or wars, or "anything".

I refuse to be a part of the game, a poison to mankind, and your soul. So I am free, for whatever time I have left, but I am free.

    Blessing be with all

  • People living in complete "separation" there is no compassion for others, only for "self" Other individuals determining what is right for you Whether that be religion, health care or education.

Do as I say not as I do? Laws , so many of them thousands that dictate my Life, in which I had no vote , no say.Wars that i cant live with knowing the hidden atrocities the gov & media will never make public. Life here in this place is a hell for so i choose to leave, I cannot exist as a psychotic being

  • I have diabetes among other health issues. I dont desire any medicines or heath care. I dont want to stay here anymore.

The cows dont seem to have any issues with civilization, I see it as it is - a very psychotic existence. A corporation controlling every aspect of my life, taxed to death, working my entire life for criminals, who will take anything I earn including property. which the "BANK" owns since I am in debt FOREVER. People chasing paper? It dictates your quality of life?

  • Sigh...he needs to experience life a bit more...you DO pay firemen and Police! If you have a fire in your home, and the responders need to work above and beyond the safety rules they have in place...you pay! And, both police and firemen are paid through your tax dollars, regardless! Yes, doctors are over-paid...I totally agree! But, now with Obamacare, their recompense won't match what they are worth, so they won't take as many patients...we are screwed!

  • @Bluedragon094

Maybe it's flawed. Maybe you didnt understand. My point to my ramble is this. We all deserve and equal amount of care on the same level of quality. Wether rich or poor. It really isn't fair on the poor bastard who cant afford better service, so he can get on with his shitty little job, compared to the banker, lets say.

    That's my point.

  • @Domzdream

    Quite a few things.

Who're you to determine who deserves anything? Since when was anyone entitled to anything, especially when the gov't has had no trouble repealing supposed "rights" and "entitlements" in the past? The red scare silenced free speech. The gov't has used eminent domain to claim land property from it's private citizens.

You really want an organization that could just as easily take away your supposed "Freedom for health care" to be the very organization... (cont.)

  • (comment cont.)

... that gives, runs, and polices themselves the right to oversee said "freedom of health care"?

    Who watches the watchmen?

The whole reason why the middle and lower classes get into so much debt is because of the middle men. Why do you think lawyers and medical visits cost so much? Because if you have insurance you have "overall" higher means, not in reality but on paper you do. Since a lot of people have those "higher means" they demand more health care, but the... (cont.)

  • (comment cont.)

... supply is still the same. Economics dictates that the supply is going to have to get more expensive to reach equilibrium and this in turn causes the insurance companies to increase their rates so that they can make the same high level of profits they were making before. It's a vicious cycle and getting the gov't involved just adds a 3rd wheel to this lovely little money making machine. You think the gov't is comprised of a bunch of innocent cherubs? (cont.)

  • (comment cont.)

They're going to RAVAGE the system for all it's worth. So much of the money going into social security, medicare, medicaid, even the "war on drugs" gets absorbed by the overhanging bureaucracy managers that only a FRACTION of the tax money actually gets to the cause it was meant for!

You really want that for health care? The supposed quick-fix? The, "Uh... well I don't actually want to fix the system, I just want to dump it on someone else."?

    (cont.)

  • (comment concluded)

That's exactly what you're purposing to do, just have it come out of taxes.

I don't think I should be forced to pay for anyone else's health care, just like I think no one should be obligated to pay for mine.

I think people should wise up and realize that if we just stopped supporting the burgeoning health insurance companies, the issue would largely solve itself, but instead of looking at how the system works, you bury your heads in the sand of ignorance.

  • @Bluedragon094

Whew, you're rather long-winded, no offence.

So, you're saying let the less able man dying on the side of the street, die?

  • @Domzdream

Wow, are you dyslexic or do you just lack reading comprehension skills? Where in my posts did I say or imply that poor people should just die on the streets?

Why no where. You didn't even bother to read what I had to say, why should I even pay attention to another ounce of drivel from your mouth?

This is why anyone who has bothered to actually READ into this topic don't take people like you seriously. You don't care if the system is sustainable, you just want free stuff.

  • @Bluedragon094

I don't have dislexia. But I do have an attention span regarding your 'book' you've just written for me to read. Keep it short, yeah?

As to your statement about free shit- NOTHING is free in the universe. It's always been and always will be an existence of cause and effect.

I contribute to taxation. So I'm the one who is helping out the less fortunate. And in turn, they'd help me out in my time of desperation. And so the wheel goes around.

    ...

  • @Domzdream

America is in a very sad state of affairs when people like you think a valid excuse for lying about someone else is, "Well I just didn't read what he had to say... too long..."

You're not even willing to take the time to understand where your opposition is coming from, to even consider there might be a point there.

You're really are the type of person that hurts your cause to anyone with half a brain.

  • @Bluedragon094

    ...

Apparently you DO have a problem helping out others. It's evident in what you say. Why be so shrewd?

  • @Domzdream

Actually if you had read and understood my comments you'd not come to the conclusion that I don't want to help people out, but you didn't because you couldn't be bothered to read 5 minutes worth of text.

I think the free market would help many more people in many more ways than just health care than the purposed health care change could ever hope to accomplish for many different reasons.

It is you that would end up hurting most people in the long run by socializing it.

  • @Bluedragon094

Oh boo-fuckidy-hoo. god you're a whiney little bitch. Harden the fuck up man.

  • @Domzdream

    Ahahahaha! Wow.

That is the most original retort I've ever read.

So, you're a dumbass and you suck at insults. What other talents are you going to display for us tonight?

Just goes to show that the health care advocates don't have an intellectual leg to stand on. xD

  • @Bluedragon094

    Kepp whining. Booo-hoo-hoooo (sniff).

You speak of intelligence, but you do not seem to present any of it yourself. And what's with the insults?

  • @Domzdream

LOLOL, how would you know what I speak? You don't bother reading my comments! xD

Y'know, maybe when you actually graduate from a high school, you might actually have the attention span to read 3 paragraphs instead of sit in watching "16 and Pregnant" on MTV all day.

Now if you'll excuse me, I've got a bachelors degree to work on. Why don't you go build a sand castle with the rest of the children somewhere.

  • @Bluedragon094

Again. Geez. Why anger? Why the insults? Calm the hell down.

16 and pregnant? What's that? I dont watch tv all that much.

Then you end up trying to show off with your bachelors degree? (big wank).

Just because I dont agree with you doesnt make me an asshole, or even wrong.

Just a different opinion, that's all.

By the way, I wish you all the best for your bachelor's man. Really.

  • @Domzdream

Who the hell do you think you're fooling here?

I mean really, do you think people reading this can't see what you've typed?

Here, let me spell it out for you.

    1. I have thick skin, I'm not angry, nor ever was in this exchange. Besides, even if I was, who cares? What has it got to do with anything?

    2. You just attempted to insult me the last few comments. If you can't take it, don't dish it out, duh!

    (cont.)

  • @Domzdream (cont.)

... an education, yet you wish me all the best with it, and somehow you're not being a transparent two-faced prick?

    6. I gotta love you intellectually dishonest types. The SECOND you think someone is over with a conversation, you LOVE to get that last hit in. Wouldn't want to end looking like a dumbass, so the second they leave the room, time to chit-chat behind his back. Very classy.

So again, just who're you trying to fool here?

  • @Bluedragon094

Not trying to fool anyone. Just trying to be curteous, that's all. What's really surprising is how, after I try to shake hands on it, you still persist in being an asshole to me, and spit in my face.

Why all the anger? Not often do I come across a cantankerous peson like you on youtube. Do you revel in argument? I noticed a lot of people dont agree with your views either.

  • @Domzdream

    Do you revel in ignorance?

You keep on complaining about insults and yet don't understand how your responses are attempted insults in of themselves.

Well of course a lot of people here are going to disagree. What of it? Even if I'm in the minority, who cares? If I was the only one who thought the Earth was round, and you all thought it was flat, by simply being in the majority does that make you correct?

    No, no it doesn't.
