the last crew resigned, they were not fired and the definitive version of Sparta FC came out of that line up. i saw them in exeter a week prior to shooting this video and they were good but the sound was very poor. this gig at hemmersmith palais however was excellent, the two bass line up created a huge wall of sound...

The part where the guitar slides in at 2.22 has to be one of the greatest sounds I've ever heard. That's what I love and respect about the fall. Both they and the sex pistols made pretty simple yet effective music, but the fall just tweaked that addition of pure musical genius that makes you want to jump about in a frenzy by yourself.
