  • Killer song from our METAL brothers from Japan! I bought this cassette, back in 1986, and loved it! Still listen to it on cd now, Great band!

  • MZA!!!

  • The craziest thing I heard was when the singer said that M.Z.A didn't mean anything....they just thought it sounded cool.

    WHAT THE F*CK???!

  • @k0sta5 "MZA" was kept in the track because Max Norman (the producer) thought it sounded cool. During their sessions, while they were working on this song, the singer used the letters "MZA" as a way to 'shape the song' before they had lyrics. However, as I said, it sounded cool to the producer and the band, so they kept it. Hey, it's rock and roll dude, can't take it too seriously...

  • @pillsareyummy I take my metal VERY seriously! lol Don't get me wrong, I love the song....I just thought it was hilarious because my brother and I tried to figure out what it meant when we were young. My brother even asked an Asian kid in his class as he thought it was an Asian thing....haha

  • There is something weird in the sound....that kicks..and also "lokenlol reisinait" keeps me lokin.

  • they still kick ass

  • @gbaypack4life Saw them at a small club in Spring Valley,NY around '1986 or '87 awesome!

  • Yeah, I had forgotten about this kick ass band. Loudness was awesome!

  • Unfortunate that Taiji Sawada the bassist just died. :(

  • @TimothyStuartRiches too pity!!!

  • @TimothyStuartRiches Whattttt !!!!! DAMN what happened ??? how did he die ???

  • @MsLOSO69 Unfortunately he was arrested for disorderly conduct on a flight and subsequently hung himself while in detention.

  • @TimothyStuartRiches it is not the base player in this video is it ??

  • @TimothyStuartRiches That is a different bassist

  • This opened the door for Japanese metal, my hat goes off and devil horns go up for them

  • ME AND MY BROTHER JR DIVINE SAW THIS BAND BACK IN 1985 IN SAN DIEGO CA OPENING ACT , GREAT BAND

  • U R deh Hee Woah!

(EFFING A I'D GO BACK THOSE WERE GREAT TIMES.:)

  • @brittany341991 well, with the fact that I still prefer standing in line in a shop to get the album than downloading it, I can claim that I know what albums are :) and yup, WASP kick ass

  • @brittany341991 I like L.A Guns too but I think them not beeing big may have something to do with the whole splitting into two seperate bands with the same name thing, seriously, that's just bloody confusing.

  • @brittany341991 Dude...Vinyl was the shit. And I completely agree with your statement. I'm still stuck in the 80's rock

  • @brittany341991 ...You got that right ...peace

  • @brittany341991 yeh! It was The time when MetallicA ruled the world...I miss the old times, too.

  • @brittany341991 Caps lock rape D:

  • what is MZA

  • @DWP444 It was a concert venue in Japan, like Gazzarri's on the Sunset strip in the 80's. I don't know if it still exists.

  • @DWP444 I have the same doubt, but this song rocks, no matter the meaning of MZA...

  • Its better than the crap now days

  • so fuckin incredible

  • Killer quality on this video - thanks for posting it!

  • Remember Loudness opening for Motley on Theatre of Pain tour in '85! Sorry but they blew Motley off with their hard driving sound and technical aspects. Had they not had so many problems could have been the equivilant of the Scorpians!! Technology was on their side...always had cool electronic shit! Of course, we bought and paid for it after bombing the shit out of them...rebuilding their country! Anyway, loved them but fuck that MZA shit as we do not need to be reminded of Pearl Harbor!

  • M Z A !

  • fuck yeah LOUDNESS!!!! \m/ \m/

  • Comment removed

  • Their japanese release/language albums made in the years prior to this were SO superior. They were so musically sophisticated, it was really a "progressive" metal. This is just trying to cater to the fist pumping hair band fans in the states. I remember being incredibly disapointed when I saw this video.

Of course, now it's just fond memories. :)

  • yeahhh \loudness/ live in kuala lumpur tonight.... yeah...\m/

walaupun FB di godam... ak post di sini...LOUDNESS ...

  • @Qoipohrioters Hell yea \m/ I saw them last night at KL Live as well... amazing !! ROCK n ROLL CRAZYYYYYYYYYYYY NIGHTS

  • springrolls ftw!

  • my first concert was Loudness with Mötley Crüe in 1985 - I fucken love LOUDNESS

  • These guys rocked it! To all the haters... 1) You have to put thing in context. This was TWENTY-SIX years ago. 2) Language... Before you say a word Minoru's accent; How's your Japanese?

  • the cover of this song by pagan's mind is great too

  • saw them open up for motley crue on theatre of pain tour in 85.

  • VICTORY FOR JAPAN!!

  • I'd rather hear them sing in their native tongue instead of in broken English. Kick ass band though. They even opened for Kiss a few times in Japan.

  • SHOWT AN SCWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEM!!!

  • Somewhat corny, but still a bad ass tune, I always crank the shit out of this song.:)

  • MZA= my zebra ass, and i'm not kidding look it up

  • @ed2368 B.S.

  • @ed2368 funny shit

  • I think its "ed zen kay!"

  • Are they chanting M-Z-A at 1:20-1:34????

  • The soun kicks you ina face!

  • i have a question, what does MZA stand for?

  • @shawndixon13 actually nothing Minoru the lead singer just added the letters as a filler for the song he said he didnt have any lyrics for that part so they just used the letters for sound purposes and the band and studio decided they should just keep it as part of the song

  • me wrike

  • M Z A !!!

    \oo/o (> <) o\oo/

  • I saw these guys when this came out, It was Bad-Azz then and IS still today. A staple in the rides CD player. C'mon Japan; Give us more of this. There's a GUY who dresses like a chick on YOUTUBE who shreds a mean axe. Start with him and get more bands out.

  • just a goddamned amazing hook in this song i sometimes sing this at work it gets stuck in ma head

  • Now THIS is true HEAVY METAL!!! Beautiful bombast at it's best!!!

  • Loudness signature song. WTF does MZA mean? Anybody?

  • @gallantman44

I read once that they were just saying those letters in place of a lyric while in the studio composing this song. The producer liked it so they just left it in. Really has no meaning.

  • I was lucky enough to see LOUDNESS warm up for the CRUE back in 85. I was blown away by thier sound so clean, crisp and heavy! They gave CRUE a run for thier money that nite.

  • HEY!!! HEY!!! HEY!!!

  • @starwarez73 their sayin MZA....PEACE.

  • R.I.P Munetaka!

  • My band DB SLEEZ will be opening up for these guys in New York June 4!! Stoked!!

  • Great fkn solo ....totally sounds like a go for it no overdubs fkn solo!!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • the band died when they swaped singer for a amircan singer

  • @angelofanguish

they disappeared for the same reason 90% of the other hair metal 80's bands did back then, from lack or originality

  • @schwoogie1 That ain't why bands disappear..."from lack of originality". If it's a great song, people are going to like it and make it popular whether it's original or not. It has do do more with how the music industry pushes the older bands out to make way for music that might garner a bigger audience (i.e. mass sales).

  • MZA??

  • Whatever happened to THIS Loudness?! In my opinion, back then, they had the LOOK, AS WELL AS the MUSIC! Today, in my opinion, they LOOK like stereotypes of THEIR generation!
