What is relevant is the legal purpose as stated in the mandates; to create conditions for self government. Every one of the countries created from the Ottoman and Austria-Hungarian Empires were brand new save one, Israel, which was "reconstituted" based on historical rights. @spynu85 firstly, how can god have a son? secondly, if god did have a son, why would he allow his own son to be killed in a way considered to be a curse upon the one being killed, because it was considered to be a curse from god if you where crusified, that is why the jews had jesus crusified, because in their eyes if he was crusified it ment he couldnt be a prophet or son of god or whatever, and even if he was, crusifiction would be highly detrimental to his message
