Thanks for uploading the 1990 parade. Due to circumstances beyond my control (I had to work), I missed the entire parade. I hope that the rest of the parade gets posted. Again, thank you.
Amazing find!... Or very lucky to have taped this. Alot of cool things in there, like the rare clip... Jim and Kermit talking about the Kermit Balloon... The SS cast no longer uses walk around suits... and the other rarest thing... Fraggle Rock in a parade! Amazing!
I couldn't help but cry when the narrator said "characters who've become the heritage of a generation",such a beautiful way to describe the Sesame Street gang.
I think Jim would have loved to see Kermit as a balloon in the Macy Parade. I'm sure he'd be brought to tears just listening to the rainbow connection just that one time.
I was about four when he died and it hurts that he died so quickly and so young. I for one will not let him be forgotten. I am tearing up watching this clip. Thank you so much for it
Thank you for making me feel old. Doozers and Whoozers are from Frazzle Rock. Doozers are little creatures that build stuff and I think the Whoozers are the Big things that wanted to catch the Fraggles.

a Doozer equivalent of a Whatnot perhaps?
Sounds like the narrator was just embelishing Dr Seuss really.

No, the ones that tried to catch fraggles were called "Gorgs"

You're very welcome. I don't know why we taped that parade, but for this clip, I'm glad we did.
