Hi David. Keep up the good work. Thanks for sharing. This one has been hard for me, something with the timing that has been hard, but I'm trying. I loved your comment about getting nervous when turning on the camera. Same thing here, we have had to redo, redo, and redo, I know the feeling. Gwen
hey man nice deering dont worry about speed.timing is better than speed any day. raymond fairchild says "time is speed-speed is time" but keep up the hard work
No......... but you did good. get the speed up, but remember that hitting the notes cleanly is far better than speed. you made some mistakes, but I REALLY liked how you stuck with it and didn't stop in mid-tune....remember.....on stage, there aint no "let's try that again" crap. I liked how you messed up but still kept playing. Nice, but you can do better. keep pickin' bro
super job! if you dont have it,get the stanley brothers starday/king instrumental cd.some killer ralph stanley instrumentals that you practically never hear anybody play

You're certainly hitting the notes, and the speed is probably just around the corner.
Better than I could do bro.
Dont you just shake your head in disbelief when you see old clips of Ralph playing this tune?

VERY good! That's as close to Ralph as you would want to get! Nice sounding banjo too.
