@themaritimeman Actually, up through the early '80s some companies used the spelling "disc" for floppy and hard disks. It was really only after the introduction of the CD that the spelling became standardized as "disk" as a way to differentiate it from Compact Discs. I still have some old 5-1/4" floppies that say "Flexible Disc" on them.
the only reason you noticed a difference in the spelling is cause your a true computer nerd...that is what separates true computer nerds from posers(gota love the tech jokes) kinda like the shirt "There are 10 types of people. Those who understand binary and those who don't"
