  • obviously

  • i love how the 335 jumped like a second earlier and still got spanked

  • wow probably the worse tune on that 335i cuz i have seen jb3 faster than that

  • @luyanoH faster than a 997 Turbo? lol right... BMW and Porsche have something in common, they don't give a shit about cafe standards but the Turbo has much better gearing for its power than a 335i with nothing more than a tune. 335i is fast once tuned no doubt, but you can't expect it to compete with 997 Turbos just because you added 100-150 horsepower. Not to mention the I-6 is extremely under rated regardless. 300hp/300lb-ft torque? Try 340bhp and 340 lb-ft torque...

  • BMW did good.

  • Ladys and gentlemen's the airplane is taking off, fasten your seat belts

  • Porsche is in a different league, The 911 is better than anything that BMW build - Full stop !!!

  • @LEBONSKIFINARM not true, 911 is a gorgeous car that has been plagued with mechanical problems, the rear engine makes it ass heavy and easy to spin out with once you break traction in the back, 3 series bmw is a 50/50 weight destribution and much better in a slide.

  • @BigChiefWiggles 50/50 weight balance on a bmw is true, but no 3 series bmw is in the same class as a porche 911 & bm's suffer from recall fault after recall fault no doubt due to the car becoming a mass produced rep mobile !

A 911 - after 40 years of continuous development is one of the very best performance cars on sale today & has been for a few years now & don't get me wrong i loved my E36 M3 to bits, but it wasn't as bulletproof as i'd hoped.

  • @LEBONSKIFINARM same here, I love the ride and the feel of bmws but they are tough to maintain, I suppose people should just buy one and trade it in before 80k miles cause after that its a nightmare. 911s are the same way, dont know about the newest ones but man Ive seen them break down, german cars are high maintenance and if you dont keep up they fall apart, old diesel mercs exluded.

  • @BigChiefWiggles i always think the bmw's & mercs built in the 80's were far more reliable than cars built in the 90's & later = the old diesel mercs & vw golfs seem to go on forever if looked after.

My E36 M3 was a hoot to drive & had a glorious engine 3.2 straight 6 that loved to rev to 7500 & sounded amazing in doing so. It did develop the usual VANOS issues & cost £1400 to put right. It also had a complete dashboard computer failure & air-con clutch unit replaced under warranty.

  • @LEBONSKIFINARM yeah, Im almost thinking of getting an old e30 325is because I miss my bimmers but I dont want to bother with all the problems again, the e36 broke the piggy bank more then once. I am looking at a e46 but Ive heard they have the same rear crossmember issues and a few others.sooooo comfortable though

  • even with the early start still getting shitted on

  • Porsche!!! all the way!!!

  • Vid is just a retarded comparison.... a 6 figure porsche vs a 60k bmw?

  • iEat BMW

  • No need to cheat the start ... soon or later Turbo will kick in Yo xD

  • @geforce5700fx well the beamer has biturbo =)

  • does anyone know where you can get vishnu chips fitted in Europe?

  • The 335i with this tune is very quick below 120mph... it has notably better throttle response than the 911, as its turbos are smaller ( and also have VTG like the porsche)... I have a 135i ( and an e92 m3) with this tune , afe intake, downpipes and it can pretty much do a 12 flat 1/4... they are quick little cars for what they are and will decimate an m3

  • ppl that like bmw listen : porsche winssssss not cuz its better , its cuz its more based on race, i bet bmw M6 could beat it

  • lol if the porsche 997 turbo and the M6 are both stock the turbo would walk it. In all seriousness it would piss all over the M6

  • remove the fucking limitor in the M6 and come to talk the ;) bmw is the best

  • M6 beat a 997 TT? Funny...

    /watch?v=QmIkQnTzwec

  • look for gpower then

  • G-Power is tuned. If that was the case, I'd tell you to look for 997 Sledgehammer...

  • No Chance. The M6 weights about 2 tons and a 911 Turbo about 1,6 tons. By the way the Turbo has got a much better aerodymanics than the m6.

I'm from Germany, where these cars are developed. 911 Turbo is one of the best supercars ever built!!

  • The 911 turbo, a sling shot as always. I wasn't even worried when the Vishnu jump started the race coz I knew what the "sling shot" was capable of. The 911 turbo never fails me.

  • the 335i clearly miss shifted, a re-run would have different results!!!

335i clearly spools a lot faster than the porsche

  • he didn't miss a shift, the 335i got a jump which resulted in the early lead and when it caught back up it passed him much faster.

  • outcome was predictable. 350whp to 450whp and better aero.... WE won't even go into weight that much.

  • I don't care if that 335Ci "Vishnu" cheated or jump-started, coz the 911 Turbo should win anyway, & it just did it. Just give the 335Ci a chance to lead for a while.. I guess "Vishnu" is one of Hindus' God. Did he tune the car?

  • the 335 driver cheated

  • but it didn't matter

  • no he didn´t cheat.

the porsche was to slow. :)

  • @neil1jnr yes, but still has no chances against the turbo :)

  • bmw cheated at start, he quickly went backwards when the 997 got into its stride.

  • the porsche driver has slept at the begining!

  • wow, the v2 jumped

  • Not to mention the chipped 335 will overheat quickly after a few spirited track laps. then it would be even slower..

  • plus the 335i officially has no warranty anymore haha most owners are like 335i chip = better performance bargain then M3, but now that they dun have warranty they gonna have fun footing the bill and BMWs have lots of issues

  • Exactly, conclusion is if u can't afford an M car, don't bother buying BMW cause anything less than an M is just a waste of money.

  • Poor 335 hahahaa...

  • ok, now put a chip in the 997tt...

  • @kop809

but you're missing the pt. look at the money spent on the two cars. the 335 is still less expensive even with the tune.

  • @kop809 why its worth more

  • @kop809 considering the fact that the 335 is half the price lol..

  • HELL YEAH

  • That 335I must of backed off or had trouble, as it just stopped dead near enough. Plus a V2 335i wouldn't be miles slower than the M6 and thaat hung on to the 997 all the way.. Something not right there???

  • I absolutely agree with you. It suddenly became night and day difference, therefore something went wrong. Any idea Gustav?

  • 997 turbo is lighter and has more horsepower...that should be simple enough

the 335i gunned it b4 the 997 did thats all

  • he started early, even though they have good response, there's no way the 335 could spool faster than the variable turbos in the 997, post another of this the right way

  • I agree with you...I think that it most likely still would have lost but this race doesn't seem accurate

  • wow the 335 really does spool quick it took over 10 seconds for the 911 turbo to make up for that lost ground

  • Damn the 335 spools up fast with software. 991 charges hard though. Good video.

  • you mean 911 or 997, but yeah, it is sooo quick

  • I mean both lol. It's a 997 911 Turbo

  • yeah but, i know its only a mistake, you put 991, not 911.

  • Oh, hahaha.

  • good HD quality and nice race

  • damn that porsche is like a jet

  • damn that HD camera takes some beautiful crisp videos
