No America should stay neutral with Iran and stay out of their affairs there. The Iranian people can handle they're own government. If America had stayed neutral Iran wouldn't have had an Islamic revolution to begin with.

That would be my preference, too. However, the reality is that big multi-national corporations have interests in Iran and their profits and/or assets would be impacted if Iran's government decided to place constraints on those corporations. And, since we know that corporations have influence in ours and the UK's governments, we know that our preferences really don't matter. It's really an issue that's decided by the corporations.
