thats a remote resivoir it makes the shock adjustable and makes it last long(doesnt get as hot )

you can also have a dual rate shock

@MrYamaha4life more oil capacity, mine is extended over the stock capacity and holds even more oil than the stock one. this way the shock wont get as hot and will lessen the possibility of shock fade
