Really like what you do Rob especially the Jethro Tull songs as they are one of my favorite bands from my youth. I struggle to get a noise out of a guitar I watch your videos with awe keep up the great work. Thanks and regards......... Ted
@Andragon90 there is a hook that attaches to a belt and a strap that goes underneath the shoulder. At this point I find it the best system for tapping, centering the instrument and tilting the neck back and into view. In my experience, a more traditional guitar strap approach usually results in the headstock moving around too much and the fretboard too far out in front of you. I don't think the posture takes a lot of time to get used to although it certainly feels different than guitar.
Are you ever going to do anything with some of your old recordings? I would love to see some re-workings of them on another album. Particularly Mighty Wren and Differential, which I repeatedly listen to.
Your songs are so gentle and powerful and they sound so... "complete". For a solo instrument that's remarkable, even if it does have at least twice as many strings as the usual suspects ;P

Rob. Where can I get one of these instruments?
Hopkins1148 7 months ago
@Hopkins1148 new instruments are available from the manufacturer - stick.com - and used ones pop up on the stickist.com forum fairly regularly.

Rob how do you wear the Chapman? Is it around the neck? And how long did it take you to get used to the posture?
